Freedom of speech works both ways I'm afraid. You asked for opinion on here and now you're moaning because people don't agree with you.
I don't recall anybody posting in the thread to say you weren't allowed an opinion dunno

you are trying to back track, you say you were not slating people who write adds requesting no onliners , then you go on to say that isnt waht you were saying but slating ad writers who request one liners??

No wind up and you missed my point, what gets me is people who put no one liners but put little if nothing in themselves.
I didn't miss your point at all......i know exactly what you said...and as i have said you get back what you put in.....this goes for the placing an ad and people replying the ad...

No. Because that has bugger all to do with Freedom of Speech. You made a point. People inferred from it what they saw. Then they replied. Now youa re screaming oppression because people weren't climbing over each other to agree with you. Don't dress your argument up as what it isn't.

No one is back tracking here at all I tried to point out many of you I felt missed the point, But of vourse your little click on here couldnt have that at all could you.
You miss the point which one person clearly got, even when he pointed it out you continued to slat the ass off of something you knew nothing about becuase you couldnt be bothered to read and once you had started you just had to carry on.
For those of you who think I have committed some kind of swinging suicide forget it, it wont bother me at all if the likes of you are the kind of people I am likly to meet.
I hope your ongoing support of abuse sarcasm and the inability to have a discussion leads you were you belong

Anotherfriend, why dont you just start again, they way your post read is why people replied as they did. It might not have come accross as you meant it but it read as if you felt people should not say they dont want one liners as that was all you were prepared to do.
As for you getting a bit sarcastic and abusive with members, well that is up to you, but will probably lead to a ban if you become too abusive. Why not just forget this post, move on, start again. We all do posts that can be read in a way which is exactly the opposite of what we meant.
Lifes too short for falling out and arguing about something as bloody irrelevant as a one line post biggrin

I think you may have judged us wrong my friend as this so called sarcasm and the inability to have a discussion is simply our way of humour as plenty of people will tell you many have posted a cotriversal thread in the forum and they to have sufferd the same fate as you. However that is where the simularites end because they turn up and see what has been posted and judge it for what it is light hearted humour. Sometimes after a partically stupid post they even admit there wrong doing and apolagise but after all is said and done most (including those who take the mik) forget about it and move on tommorow is another day and all that so let me say :welcome: and I look forward to reading your next post. Because i'm certain this one is done with now biggrin

it is possible to be vaguely amusing with a one liner ((( sarge is yer man for that again! ;) ))) but it smacks of laziness, and a bit of a spamming approach. kind of bombard inboxes with something easy, then wait for a nibble to suggest your next move. hardly selling yourself is it, and is kinda putting the ball in someone else's court?

Some of the oneliners I get make me squeal with laughter when I get a particularly novel one or one thats so cringeworthy its so bad its funny! smile

Like those low budget films where you can see the zips in their monster suits but they don't actually give two hoots! :)
The reply is gets for two word PMs.... "Delete Message" The funnier ones might get a thanks but no thanks.
Hint and tip of the week though... don't take someone's profile photo, alter it using an image programme and then send it back to the owner. It's a sure fire way of never getting a shag ever ever ever! :)
