A friend of mine is in the middle of a devorce, due to her husband cheating on her for years. only just found out 6 months ago as he works abroad.
Anyway we were talking about it and she asked you guys always seem to be in love I can see it your around each other. I blurted out "well we swing" redface

, but we were like that before we did swing anyway.
I am sure she went surprised

ops: then once she had sorted her self out she asked how could you do that.
so I said "we are sol mates, best of friend and lovers" we have not had sex with anyone else since well before we were married. but everyone fances and little bit of the other so this is why we swing. Now this is when I fucked up i said its better than cheating :oops: :oops:
what made you guys start swinging. For us, we would never never cheat on each other, but life is too short with all the fun that can be had so thats why started.

There's always that damn temptation to tell people, isn't there. Not in a showing-off kind of way, but more as in 'spread the good news' sort of way. When I was still with my ex hubby, we talked about fantasies and stuff and I confessed to being bi-curious. Being a red-blooded guy, he thought the idea of 3somes was a fine one though we never did anything. To be honest, I didn't trust him enough to bring a third person into our relationship. As it happened, he did that all by himself behind my back confused

When we split, I found I had the opportunity to explore my own sexuality and joined this site. I met some really lovely ladies and lost my 'curious' status :twisted:
With Dai, it's so different. We're best friends and soulmates and I trust him implicitly biggrin

To feel that amount of trust and openness with someone is really something else.

ive only been on the swinging scene a few months, so can't really call myself a proper swinger by any means, but its a powerful urge to tell someone that you are LOL
Because I have always been a prim and prissy sort of person, and am a nursery school teacher, i suppose its the wow factor that makes me want to confess LOL....kind of....'you think im dull and boring, but you'll never guess what I do!' sort of thing
ive had this hypothetical 'what would you do if you knew any swingers' sort of convo with my older sister, and she was horrified, and filled with tales of...being told by her new neighbours that the couple she bought her house off had 'those sort of orgies and callers at all hours of the day and night...and that they were glad they finally had decent neighbours LOL
so that kind of precluded my confessing all to her!!!
but still this new lifestyle makes me smile to myself all the time, which can only be a good thing in my book!!

Its tempting to tell all, but in my experience its more of a risk than you think. Most people are not ready for this kind of revelation, as its not something they generally encounter.
They may well seem okay about it at the time, but its not until later that you start to see how it affects them. Some can be quite put out by it. Many feel they have been fooled by you, others; that you are elevating yourself above and beyond their 'normal' lifestyle, many will think your just a dick or fanny head. Some will feel deceived, that they thought they 'knew you'. Some will think you are stupid to be saying such things let alone doing them. And so on.
So be careful as and when you wish to spill the beans.

Someone on here asked me how I got in to swinging.
