North-east newbie says hello !

Hi, I'm a newbie to the site and, as many of you may have done, I'd just like to drop a quick "hello" to you by way of introduction.
I'm going to be "dipping my toes" into the forum and chatroom so will probably see you around as time goes on but if anybody has any advice for somebody starting in this whole scene then I'd grab it with both hands (the advice, that is !) smile

You all seem to be a friendly bunch so I hope I can fit in and contribute in whatever way you all see fit !
