Just got home – slightly knackered!
Wow, what a weekend and Happy Birthday Sarah!
Thanks to Sarah and Mal and all the people that helped them for such a storming success of a night. It just went so quick – even though we didn’t get to bed – to go to sleep until just short of 6am (I’m really getting too old fer this mullarkey!).
A special thank you to Mr and Mrs FB :inlove: for their company and the lift there and back. Two diamonds if ever there was.
What a myriad of stars on the night!
I don’t usually do the names thingy but this time I’m gonna have a go.
In no particular order:
Missy – it was just wonderful to see you again and to meet David. Top guy fer a top gal- great natter. (I’ll leave Angelica to say what she thinks of David wink

)
Vix– fantastic to see you looking so good and Reese– always a pleasure to meet up with a true gentleman in every sense of the word.
Jas and Timmy– Timmy, Angelica was disappointed to not see the lights go out and find out where the glo-stick would fit but maybe next time. You are a true artist to have produced Jas’ dress, which was also, so see-through that one could appreciate the work of art inside the work of art.
Darkfire and Mr DF – always a pleasure to have a brush with class – great to see you again.
Dammie and HLB – He had the wobbles by the time we arrived, but looking good :thumbup: and HLB – nice hold-ups – whoever bought them for you has extremely good taste.
Dawnie – like I said it was good to see you!
Paul and Tina– great to meet you.
Fabio – It's been too long-a-coming Sean but great to see you at last. (Angelica’s first munch and she gets to meet you first rolleyes

)
Shireen – met you at last - :inlove: totally confirmed. We didn’t return to our chat did we?
Earthchild – Wonderful to put a face to the chest at last and to find out that you are the quality person you appear to be on the site.
Mrs Huddscpl– you sure that wasn’t black pepper glitter you were sprinkling down the front of me keks? Great to see the other end of you so to speak!
Easy and Countess – we never got back to talk after the first round of ‘Angelica introductions’ – next time.
Calista and Morbius – great to see you looking so good.
Carrie-Ann, Hornyinslough – both looking gorgeous and doing more than representing the Pussy Possee (of which I remind you I’m an honorary member.
Sassy-Seren – the real surprise package of the night – me jaw nearly hit the deck when I saw – but it dropped through sheer pleasure, which I’m sure was obvious.
Harry Jones – you still owe me a pint!
Mr Powers doesn’t look like Mike Myers one bit – good to meet at last.
Bloke – nice to squeeze the flesh once more.
DD– good to see you make it all that way. kiss

And Roger, Essex and Will- always a pleasure!
I see from the above that there were so many others I didn’t talk to, whom I had intended to - must be next time.
Thanks also toDJ Ally and Carla for keeping the pulse going through the night.
I know there will other super people I have forgotten – so apologies for that.
I suppose one last thank you for my beautiful Angelica for being with me – at least for the first 10 minutes. She shook me off pretty damned smartish and had a blast so she tells me.

( the cost of the trip itself is being met by myself and family donations ) As a charity, Marie Curie Cancer Care only receives 30% of it's total income from the NHS with the rest being raised through donations and fundraising events such as this and it is the generosity of people such as yourselves who make it happen.

I would like to thank Sarah so much for donating this money to me ( after I cheekily asked her to biggrin

) for the trek and for the generosity of everyone at the munch.

hi, well id like to everyone who made me feel welcome at my first munch i really enjoyed it. especially like to thank abilene as without her coming over i was on the way home. Also like to thank everyone i spoke to for putting my mind at ease and Countess for telling me that at midnight everyone would turn into vampires. Very well organised and definatly something ill do again

To Sarah and everyone else that 'pitched in', thank you, it was a great night and I'm sure no small feat to get close on to 240 people in one place, in Nottingham, at the same time - SO much time and effort must have gone in to organising this before, during and after the event :P
To the people I met for the first time and spoke to again... it was a pleasure lol

Oh, and to Rubber Duck :inlove:.... it will be 'a pleasure' in May (with Carrie Ann's permission, of course) wink

I'd like to second this. With the exception of last minute fuck ups ( ie Meaty's car knackering up. ) there's no reason let people down. There were so many on the reserve list who could have come along and, as HLB said, manners cost nothing. I'm so glad I did manage to make it in the end as I had the best night in ages.
Kudos to whoever found the venue. It was perfect :thumbup:
