Don't have any probs with mine dunno you could try ringing customer services if you've got a spare 3 hours to wait ! mad
ring the customer services number and before they put you through they will tell you if there is any work going on in your area and for how long as this is at the beginning of the call your only on the phone for 4/5 mins (hopefully) rolleyes
hope this helps

lol ive not got the wealth or the patience to ring customer services....they stopped the free phone number now and you have to pay to be put on hold. be aware they are fiddling with the network so they can get the 10mb connections up and running proper and its affecting different areas of the country right now. just been on nthell site and its a common problem that ntl are denying even exists.
we arnt far away from you but our service was dreadful yesterday but ok today however last month lost service 15 times rang and complained they refunded me 2 months subscription it helps having a relative on the inside lol
didnt know that the frephone number had gone (another nice earner for em)

"Network rebalancing across the country will result in a brief loss of service for all customers." just found that out from nthell. my connection was very bad yesterday to. not been great for last two weeks. think ill give them a ring laterto try get a "goodwill gesture" lol

cheekiest thing is they are going to charge people to downgrade their service in future.. so if you decide you want to stop using the tv service it will cost £4 to cancel it, same rate for cable and phone each.
also they will be charging 10 quid for people who arent home when a ntl technician calls round.......
lol no worries mr and mrs......
i understand. just do me a favour and tell your friend you were chatting to an irate ntl customer, when you see him/her next.
lol     will do

After I was getting nuisance calls from a scammer ( a long and scary story ) nthell said they would charge me £25 to change my home number unless I had a crime number from the police. Needless to say, the police didn't want to know and my number is still the same rolleyes
