Several years ago we stumbled upon a nudist beach, well actualy, we walk about three miles over hills and dales, through ditches and across a bridge. why are they so so far out the way. when we got there it was worth it. the day was warm. the beach was good and once we had taken are gear off. i became a confirmed nudist. my then wife found it okay but prefered to visit the local shops. yes, and she did put her gear back on first. the advantages that i discovered were :- no soggy trunks - frendlier people - we all seemed to belong - more people talking - less inhibitions - less fashion parades - except in the shaving and piercing department - i've meet lots of nice people in such places . i prefere the title nudist, i found if i use any other terms i get refered to Bill Oddy or what ever he is called. has anyone else any comments. when the next national nudist day.
Hi, we are naturists too, just love the feeling of freedom that it brings. We have visited a naturist spa in Brighton called Bristol Gardens (swinging goes on there too) and also visited Studland Beach at Swanage. Its a beautiful beach, sooooo much cleaner, quieter and much less crowded than the usual beaches. We even take our kids there, so that shows how nice it is. There are dunes there thou, which is great for playing with the 'meerkats' as they are known, guys who lay in there looking for fun, popping there heads up now and again to see if anyones coming lol We have also been to Cap d'Adge in South of France, another gorg beach but i felt it was a bit of a concrete city, i prefer more natural surroundings, so much more sensual and relaxing i fiind. Cap d'Adge is also another haven for swingers and fetish fans with the clubs and parties that they have there.
A plug here for our local beach at Sandwich Bay. Like all good spoys it's a good 15 mins hike form the carpark but worth the walk. A mile of gentle slope clean sandy beach backed by sand dunes - swingers in the middle part of it, gay male pot at the far end. regular nudists at the first part. one of the sports clubs i belong to have a camping trip every year to the same campsite in tallybont just north of barmouth in Wales, im led to beleive there is a nudist beach along that stretch of sand somewhere. I have not stumbled into it myself but have heard good reports about it. The beach that is near our site is nice and clean (in the litter and sanitary towel department!) so i assume the nudist one is too.
Sen Yes there is. If you go to the Dyffryn Seaside Estate. Park there - just past the shop (£1 per day). Go thru onto the beach and turn right - keep walking till you see the naturist sign. I will stress though - this is a family naturist beach!!! And so everyone should be treated with respect and visitors should act with due decorum as there will be young children present. It is a beach for naturists and not a beach for hedonists. I believe people who have acted in an inappropriate manner in the past have been reported to the police - and quite rightly so given the nature of the beach. This said, if you have kids and take them along, I would strongly advise that you do not let then go into the dunes - either alone or accompanied. They are frequented by 'mere cats' and it is a common meeting place for gay males in particular. (Sen - please believe me I wasn't suggesting you were going to go there to perv - I wanted to make it clear to anyone else that thought it may be somewhere to go and get an eyeful). Hugs, Alex x x

Well Tal-y-Bont is south of Dyffryn as far as I can remember - so it would be right! The beach is very close to Shell Island and the RAF base. It's no wonder they do low-level flying over there! Alex x

My cousin was in the army in NI for several years and used to take great pleasure in doing "routine Inspections" down lovers lanes in more rural areas. One knock on the car window with an SA 80 Rifle and it was all knickers and bras everywhere in the car..........followed by extremely faces lol
As a "meerkat" myself I was wondering what other people think about this. Is it acceptable to spy on people on the beach ? I tend to think that if people strip off on a public beach, they cant complain if they get looked at by members of the public. On the other hand spying on women in bikinis, topless etc does make me feel like a bit of a perv, so I'm trying to give it up. My new motto is :- If you want to see women naked, then pay them !
We very often go to a nudist beach near to us in Devon, it is frequented by 'true' naturists at the access end, swingers in the middle and gays at the far end. We tend to use the swingers section taking into account who is around and 'assessing' as far as practicable if they would be offended by sexual activity. Obviously there are more single guys 'parading' with erections and stopping to have a peek, even when not indulging and just soaking up the sun. Why these guys cant just come up and have a conversation, I dont know, it could be to their advantage, they just seem to stand and stare. We would welcome any information on other nudist beaches or other venues in the south west, in particular venues during the winter period.

For those that havent been to Fuerteventura, let me add a plug: The Zone of the Dunes stretches for about 20 miles south of Corralejo in the north east of the island. The dunes area is anyting up to five miles wide. Wonderful scenery and it looks like you are in the Lawrence of Arabia movie. A good road runs parallel with the beaches and it's anything from a five to a fiftenn minute hike from parking places to the very many bays, some with decent beach bars and small restaurants. Clothes are rare, though it's usual to pop on a loose top if going into the bars. At the north end of the dunes area are two large-ish hotels, usually full of German tourists. If you find yourself taking the sun au naturel don't be surprised to see large numbers of mahogany colooured Germans wearing flipflops, hats and shoulder bags and nothing else. They hike the full length of the dunes every day, or seem to. A call of guten morgen will be cheefully returned. The sunshine fair beats down there but you will be cooled by the breezes that roll across from easte africa. So, next time, forget Lanzarote, Gran Canaria and the rest, go enjoy Fuerteventura. Adn leave your footprints (Knee-and-hand prints too maybe) in the side of a sand-dune - they make a great photo for the album to look back on in years to come. The Kent Host
So Dave, you've never oggled a woman on the beach ? seeing as my mood is much better this morning and the fact that I acknowledged, albeit in another thread, that my words were harsh in their style although I stand by their meaning, I will answer in a more restrained manner. Like every other person I have fleetingly admired the charms of ladies other than mrs davej, however I have never oggled (a word which I take to mean something entirely different from a fleeting admiration) and I have never spyed on people which is what you admitted to doing. In your original post you admitted to spying on people who were enjoying the amenities of a nudist beach, this I took in its literal sense, in that you were hiding out of sight and watching people without their knowledge. Further more you inferred (actually no you didn't) you stated that people that use nudist beaches should expect this kind of behaviour. You then asked what we thought about this, hence my reply. Unfortunately, I dare say that people that use these amenities do expect this behaviour mainly because they are fully aware that folk like you exist does that make it right? are they asking for it as you suggest? now where have we heard that before......let me think.....oh yeah.....'she was wearing a very short skirt your honour so she must have been gagging for it'.....'what d'ya mean boss I dont deserve the sack it was her fault for wearing that see through blouse'....... If these are truely your thoughts, if you honestly believe that spying on people is a justifiable pastime and honestly believe that they are asking for it and should therefore expect it, then perhaps you and I should swop avatars cos you sure as hell have your head further up your arse than I do.

Hi all if you are after a pleasant official nudist beach in Kent then Shellness on the Isle of Sheppy if on your doorstep. Accessed by an unmade road but with parking right on the edge. ( no long hikes, that suits us ) Its a typical nudist beach with its collection of meercats and older generation single guys with half an erection. No offence meant to the older generation but thats what we see. In the dunes you will find some exhibitionists and on the beach couples who like to sun bathe naked. At the far end you will find a gay section but most people are freindly whatever section you use. A word of warning to the people who think its fine to stare and wank without even chatting. Some guy got a punch from the girls boyfriend when he felt it was fine to stand at the bottom of her towel and carry on wanking when he was told to get lost. That does not mean nothing happens there as we have had several good times but they are by invitation only not just because someone felt that as we were nakd we were " gagging " for it. So guys use your brains ( not the one in your pants ) have a freindly chat and as with all things in this scene, dont be pushy. Nudist beaches Abroad, Fuerteventura: totaly agree a superb nudist beach. Bodrum - Turkey: Little known rocky bay with clear water and nice views. Oh yes and lots of randy locals. thanks for all the info and the links. to get to the beaches we should welcome the long walk and enjoy the exercise + It does help to keep the mearly curiouse away. Its just a pain if you've forgotten It's just a pain when you forget something ....... Fot my next holiay, (next year unless ....) i'm going to try one of the resorts on the outskirts of Barcelonia. i know that some of the resorts have naturist areas. i'll have the naturist (+ bill oddy) beaches in the day and catch the train into barcelonia for the evening entertainment, not to mention the outstanding architecture. Has anyone any recommendations.
