Over a month, it had been.
I could not withstand the urge any longer. I had been pacing round the house, trying not to wake my beloved, aware that he does not, cannot, fulfill my needs in this one area.
I had been thinking about it all this time. Something I used to do more than once a day, every day. Something had been missing from my life.
I could resist no more!
I got washed and dressed. I put on my make-up. I sprayed perfume. I slowly assembled everything I needed. Everything has to be just right. It's the law. Looking at the apparell I had chosen, my heart was beginning to race.
My heart, in fact, must have been pounding so hard... he woke up. Looked at me.
"I'm going out".
He smiled and quickly returned to his slumbers.
Slipping into my gear, zips and laces, buckles and straps.... the anticipation making me fumble. Then, I was out the door.
The doubts.. Oh! The doubts. That is when they hit me. As I walked over to her. Unable to stop grinning, foolishly.... the doubts were still there, hidden behind the grin.
I stroked her, eyed her every facet. A gentle nudge, a light grasp, a soft twist... enough is enough!!!!
I straddled her and prayed that I would not be dissappointed... would she let me? Will she open up for me?
Foolish, insecure and foolish! Of course my baby would not let me down! I hope it's not so long till we are so co-joined again.
It may be winter, but a Harley is for life, not just for Summer.

Yeah, it did. It was just a wee blat that I took, but it was chicken-soup for my mind, body & soul, I can tell ya.

I thought you had a horse for a minute there!

Horse. Hmm. Nope.
Last time I tried one of them, I used the kick starter. Made the damn thing move, but the location of the throttle eluded me.
Oh, Vix, I'm soooo jealous.
I haven't been on my bike for over two weeks since I came off it on a muddy road. I'm going stir crazy without it, and the repairers still haven't said when they'll have it ready
