Where do i go to have this done? Can i do it myself? Which is easiest?, any help will be appreciated smile lol . Thx! (her btw) x
You could do it yourself or look for a local beauty salon, and go there and ask questions first.
May be you have a local training college nearby and they would do it, it would be cheaper, but they will be students.
Ahh thx for your reply smile , id prefer to do it myself but not sure what product to use, hmm. Thx again x
Can we have before and after pictures to see if it was successful or not please? rotflmao
Erghhh seems like nobody else can answer :/ , ahh well, thx for looking anyway peeps! Lol there will be no b4 & after mr sinsi silly just have to imagine it hey? lol x

alternatively a trip to Rio...........
Dear Mrs Tweeks...
having tried a couple of times (OK read quite a bloddy few times because I'm a cheepskate) to wax my own legs with various different products; hot wax, ready strip things, cold wax, rollyroller things... etc... and never actually ended up with anything other than a disasterously sore sticky and still hairy leg, the thought of doing the same thing to my foofoo fills me with dread. I emplore you to go to a professional! Or take some tips from the old thread about how to shave your nads. (anyone care to find the link for me? I'm feeling really lazy after nearly laughing up a lung at celebrity juice!)
Yours,

kiss x x x
Hiya Mrs Tweeky kiss
I also prefer to do these things myself because the thought of going into a beauty salon and bearing all to the beautiful people doesnt appeal to me at all!!
There are options:
Epilators, hurt like fuck as they rip the hairs out from the roots one by one really quickly. You can buy epilators that come with ice packs to numb the area first. You tend to get quite a few ingrown hairs afterwards and I say again, it hurts like fuck!!!! On the upside though, if you're careful, you can do it yourself and it lasts for about a week. When the hair grows back it is not so thick so if you keep on top of it, it doesnt hurt so much the next time. Epilators can get the hair when its realy quite short too so you dont have to wait for it to be longer as you do with wax.
Wax strips. These are the pre-waxy things like Veet. They dont work and leave you in a big sticky mess!!
Soft Wax is the type that you need the paper strips for. The hair needs to be long enough for the wax to grip onto. It hurts but it is quick. It's pretty much near impossible to do this yourself and if you can then you're a braver woman than me so Mr Tweeky would probably end up doing it for you. It does leave you in a bit of a sticky mess but it's easy to get off.
Hard wax you have to melt, spread on your bits (quite thickly) and leave to dry again before ripping it off so there is no need for the paper strips. Again, you'd find this hard to do yourself so would probably need Mr Tweeky's help. The pain is pretty much the same as the soft wax except that you need to free an end to get hold of which is quite painful. Again the hair has to be left to grow a bit before doing it again.
You can buy wax kits which have both hard and soft wax in them so you can see which you prefer. The question is, do you trust Mr Tweeky to wax you??
:scared:
Although the story afterwards will probably make me roar with laughter, which makes me feel a little bit guilty for taking a small amount of pleasure from the misfortunes of others. :uhoh:
On the other hand, he might turn out to be a salon style waxing expert!

Here I am!
Mrs Tweeky, give me a call. I do have an excellent salon I use here in Bristol. Been going there for 2 years now and they're great.
Added bonus that we've just moved near (ish) to them so you can pop in for a cuppa and a chinwag before/after biggrin
*Her*
Not really qualified to comment on this. As most of you will know, there's no hair on the top of my head (see gallery for details). As for the rest of me - there's not enough wax in the world!
