Just went to Vix's website and found that some little scrote has hacked it. That takes a special kind of fucknuggetiness to hack a charity site. I bet this guy steals from Scope shops too.

Next time make sure the permissions are set. may not stop them , but will make it more difficult.

To be honest with you. Giving their nics to a hackers website would get them into a lot of sh*t by their fellow hackers. Even some of these people have class. Obviously not all of them sadly.

Highly unlikely unless the ISP has a log of the IP addresses that have accessed the FTP server. Even then, they will have used multiple proxies to get in and hide their tracks.

If multiple sites are down on that server, the whole ISP may have a problem.

They hacked two charity sites that were hosted on that server before I jumped in and thwarted them! :x :x Will have to reinstate my automatic script that checks for unauthorized FTP access every few seconds. Thanks so much to dazandlou for pointing this out quickly enough so I could deal with it before they hit the rest of the sites hosted there. :love:

Nah, they just do it so they can boast to their script-kiddie friends about w0t 1337 h4x0rZ they are.
They deserve torturing, slowly and painfully. My personal preference is repeated application of an over-charged cattleprod, but failing that I think a nice DDoS (Distributed Denial of Service) attack should do the trick, give them a taste of their own medicine.
