love the bit about the coal cellar ..... what film is it from???

Not from a film, Calista, as far as I know, but by Tommy Steele...
.....poor old man, being a short-sighted feller
When he saw Jim's mouth, he took it for the cellar
And he shot the lot right into his mouth no joke,
Jim poor soul got a belly full of coal and he coughs up lumps of coke.

Many thanks Mike smile
i gained a load of 7" vinyls from my mum and that is one of them and i love it. Knew it was Tommy but thought it was from a film (probably not though).
Little white bull was another and some of the songs from half a sixpence.
Hi Calista, "Little White Bull" is from the film "Tommy The Toreador", but "What A Mouth" is definitely not from a film.
Mike.

Don't want to seem a cleaver clogs, but Tommy Steel's right, and it was in a film. Half a Sixpence. Tittle of song, Flash Bang Whollop. Also stared Stanley Hollaway and a girl I can't remember. But that's far too much info anyway.

Hi Keith, don't want to seem like an even cleverer clogs, but "What A Mouth" and "Flash Bang Wallop" are two different songs...both by Tommy Steele of course, and both brilliant songs. And you're right, "Flash Bang Wallop" was in "Half A Sixpence".

Hi Mike,
And i thought I would be the only one on here old enought to know the difference. Just shows you can fool some of the people etc,
Am now going to get my Tommy Steel collection out and have a damn good look at it.
Ok, so I bought it a few months back from a charity shop, £2, but I haven't played it, HONEST. It was just for nostalgas' sake.
