Pictures as signatures.
Now I aint getting into a debate on wether or not they should be there in the first place other than to say that give em an inch and someone will take a yard in the future, but thats got nought to do with me, but what I would like to say is,
please ...please...please guys if they are gonna be there lets make em a bit smaller so that we dont have to scroll across a page, because everytime you post it makes that whole page wide (I'm sure there's a techie name for it) and to be honest it's bloody annoying having to scroll across a page to read it.

i agree, i have noticed a few signaturs that are looking more and more like adds :shock: do you really need several pics of yourself on ur sig? why not just put a link to your add
i have even seen some with pics and link to their add with pic on

Personally I don't like pics as signatures, but that aint my complaint, my annoyance is that nigh on every thread I've opened tonight doesn't fit the page and involves scrolling to read it, now this might be allright for you younger folk, but I aint got that long to live to be pissin around scrolling plus any form of additional excercise isnt welcomed here cos I just get out of breath.
EDIT: a quick edit to add my thanks to 3someinpreston who kindly obliged me by trimming theirs up last night.

that would be about right, a solution to view wide pages thats made the page......wide :taz:

Not the biggest fan of huge signatures per se ... it get's very tiresome when the signature is wide and longer than the actual post by about 14 lines!

This is the thing that makes my partner really nervous...she woudl love to go to a party with me, has chatted on forums, even had a mff with a friend of ours and great it was too.
Trouble is she reads these articles and posts and it puts her right off any sort of organised event.
"Couples only" (but single guys seem to be there)...and although we have had good feedback as well as negative feedback about various places (Radlett is our nearest venue), one bad report we had on the very day we planned to attend...doh...puts her (and if I'm honest me) off attending..
I know there can never be any guarantees but surely there must be at least one local (to Stansted / Harlow / Herts / Essex) party venue that isn't a pot luck place where we can reduce the risk of having an offputting never bother again experience with the predatory single males...??
All we are looking for is the opportunity to go out,with no pressures, no stalkers and either play OR NOT without feeling uncomfortable and the "newcomers made to feel very welcome - ideal for newbies - no means no" doesn't seem to ring true...
Any advice anyone...? confused

Well, I can't speak for every venue that organises couples only events, but certainly at clubs like Partners, when it is a couples only night, it is DEFINATELY couples only night. SIngle guys are not allowed through the door at all.
