One thing I do know is this: If someone you're interested in is deterred by your age, they're unlikely to be swayed by tales of the proficiency that comes from your great experience - people don't rationalise sexual attraction, it's just personal taste.
Let me ask you, if someone you didn't fancy asked you to "give us a "chance", what would you say?
The way I look at it, there are probably ten million plus people in this country who are in my preferred age range. If one percent of one percent of those are attracted to 45 year old men, I'd have to be extremely greedy to want to meet them all.

Since I started to be involved in this "scene" I have met people of all sorts of ages. When I have visited clubs or been to Munches or parties I am always impressed with the fact that there are people from a wide range of ages. In fact, I would rather play with older people than those I consider too young.
There's folk out there for everyone, in my opinion. You just have to go out and find 'em!

I don't think I've been dismissed because of my age overtly - it is usually that I don't float someone's boat. When that happens more often than not they tell me straight up and we just get with being friends - and frankly they are some of the best friendships I've had.

thanks for your constructive replys ....so yes there seems light at the end of the tunnell for us more experienced older folks ....my own preference is for an older couple or woman , just recently i met a woman who was 60 but wow she made love like a 25 year old and with a body to match ( obviously no names given )but she well they ( a couple ) advertise on here so to summise so far you dont have to be built like jordan or have the looks of sean connery to get laid and with a few extra pounds and years it seems little to make any difference ......maybe a good personality works after all ?

this is very, very much a two way street.....
I know a lot of younger people who wouldn't really want to play with people old enough to be their mums or dads
Conversely, I know a lot of older people who wouldn't really want to play with people young enough to be their sons or daughters......
nothing wrong with people having preferences as everyone has them! I am sure that you have yours, they may just not be age related
remember that swinging is about everyone having a good time.... and if age happens to be a factor in that, then so be it.....

i myself just dont judge anyone on physical attributes size gender height weight are of no issue but if someone you meet makes you warm ..confortable ..happy..etc etc then its fun all the way , i have certain things that yes I like like big boobs absolutely love them but it wouldnt put me off taking a couple to bed if his wife/ girlfriend wasnt what I wanted, personality is oh so important in swinging and attitude fun fun fun is the greatest issue when driving home thinking that was a gr8 evening and a lot of fun .....will go back again

What I find irritating isn't so much the age thing, but when people say that 45 is the maximum age they'll entertain... then turn down a 47 year old on the basis of being too old.
What fucking difference does 2 years make? How do you tell the difference in age between a 45 year and a 47 year old?
It's strange when people make pre-conceptions based on age, regardless of what end of the spectrum is involved.
I'm coming up to my 49th and no longer give a fuck whether people think me too old. If they do then it's their loss (or gain depending your perspective).

My sisters Aunt (by marriage) is a bubbly 83 yr old - who looks 70 and acts like a 40 yr old. She's the most open minded sexy woman of that age group I have ever met in my life.

I tend to agree but wrt the bold bit - maybe they've already decided 40 plus or minus 5 years and therefore someone who is 47 is in fact 7 years older than their ideal.
But I do agree with those who've said that age doesn't matter as long as it's legal of course.

but I do not usually find people over 50 attractive, however there is one guy who is just a tad over over 50 and he looks good and would and have met him.
For me I go for looks, im not usually attracted to personality's but there again I only usually meet guys once so I dont tend to get to know them that well.
