I don't think I've put this up before, unless it was in a faculty impaired moment dunno

but I've been thinking about how we all subjectively view ourselves here. :undecided:
There are members who clearly the idea doesn't even occur to rolleyes

:roll: and then again there are some who are surely into bionics and the fusion between human and machine as evinced (is that right, or did I mean evidenced?) by their avatar image.
The latter range from manic Zebedee pogo sticks to strange beaked creatures wearing sunglasses (that one disturbs me 'cos I can remember the character from the late 60s/early 70s?? but for the life of me not the name or the cartoon strip. Seem to remember he wore a mac as well whilst doing his sleuthing).
Anyway, back to the point, which was...................erm...................Yep! :bounce: :bounce:

I don't remember there being more than two, but as you say it dates from before my time so maybe there were more in the past.

I suppose two ways eager, both of which my avatar represents.
The first is, part of a couple trying to be what they could always have been if life had been different.
The second is, an individual who in may ways steps out of the insecurities of real life, and into a persona on here, hopefully along the way learning some stuff that he can take back and improve his real life with.

My point really Steph is that for me Eagerworld is real, like in the proportion of 70% (EW)to 30% (RL). The 30% bit accounts for my working/family life.
I'm still the same person but wearing a different coat which is more the RL me.
I'm interested in other peeps' perceptions of themselves in the same way (if indeed they give it any thought). I mean, we don't come on here just to play, do we? :shock: :shock:

well,,,I'll like to think I'm pretty much the same in R/L and here......too far for meets, and never really hide that or any fact about me biggrin

Don't really think having a different persona or side to your self on here is a bad thing, just not mine. but do think that some people on here, tend to live out a character side of them selves that maybe is slightly hidden in R/L...Not that I think thats a bad thing, if of course it does eventually come out in R/L :P
but each to their own :D .........

that a bit too deep for me but it made me think about the avatar how how peps perceive you from the avatar. So I've ditched keano and got something more in keeping with me. biggrin

I tend to look in the mirror or any shiny surface, alternatively I use the webcam or take lots of pictures of myself ;)

I am very much the same in RL, but in SH I am more me than I can be elsewhere. People take me as I am and let me be, well me. Sometimes there is a steering hand to put me back on track from a friend on SH as otherwise I may derail.. they know who they are and have deepest respect from me for it. However really peeps the person you see is me, a slight veneer of confidence I don't have in RL, but otherwise this is who I am smile

Have put this before somewhere but can't be arsed to search for it. My pic is me about 14 months ago ... after years of having little confidence and hiding myself away ..... I plucked up courage to get my tits out and allow the world to see me ... and finally to show the world I was a confident, sexy woman.
It worked biggrin

Actually I am the lead climber on that Pap of Fee's(Which is ancient Scots for Breast). Not an easy climb I'll have you know but well worth the effort cool
