i do love christmas, the happy buzz that goes around, the excitment in childrens faces the log fire burning away and being surounded by family, however...
im sorry to put a dampner on the excitment but i hate the comercialism (sp, fb help me out lol) of it all.
i hate the debt people get into, the stress people go through not being able to afford the turkey let alone pressies, the domestic violence fulled by the alcohol and streses.
please bear a thought for the less fortunate, and if you can afford it donate a pressie to the boxes found in boots etc, invite that friend around who you know will spend it alone.
remember not everyone can get excited for the worry it brings.

:cry: do you know, I've been so fortunate, I've had 32 fantastic christmas' (the first 4 I cannot remember)and I'm aware of the horrors that go on in some people's houses, drink related etc., but I don't think about them until it's highlighted.
The reason I love christmas is because mine have been fantastic and so full of lovely things to eat and drink etc and my mam used to work herself to the ground to afford it all.. I'm one of the lucky ones.
