OPs editting your photo Ads.... right or not?

Hi ya there..
just had my photo ad editted... well... i say just.. but the ops dont even inform you that they are going to edit it
if i had something offensive in there then fair enough... or something to identify people who i've spoke to .. but when i've got consent from people to put a quote on my ad.. then why cant i use that
i've had gr8 reviews from people... arent i allowed to sell myself in that way

the forum mods
I suppose if what you have on your add is against the site rules they will take it off wether you have permission to use the quotes or not.
No point moaning about it that not stop them :lol:

Nope... read ALL the rules.. and no where does it say that you arent allowed to have quotes in your ad...
And just interested to hear what people think of the topic...... this should be a friendly website where the expression of open minded people is encouraged

well one of the quotes that i can remember..
from cple32blackpool..... (i asked their permission to use it)
"we dont talk to single guys .. but we really like you and would love to meet you as your not like the rest"
or something like that
i personally dont see an issue with that..... anyone else?

maybe you should appeal to a higher authority dunno

PM to the mods would be a good starting point, still unsatisfied, PM to the BBD :thumbup:

When you register with the site you agree that the mods have the right to edit any post. We haven't the time or the inclination to go round editing people's ads for a laugh, so if it was edited there must have been some info on it that was naughty. Actually, I never edit ads, if something is against the AUP in an ad I delete it and ban the user. So I guess you were lucky.

It was me who edited it, and as Blue said you're lucky it wasn't deleted. You posted a long list of references.. that is what other people are supposed to have said about you!! What on earth that was meant to ad to your message is beyond me, they were meaningless. You COULD have made them up. dunno
