OT: iPod Speakers Help!

Okay, the completely useless luddite/technophobe who has only just recently purchased an iPod rolleyes

needs help!
I want to buy a set of speakers for my iPod. I've not got a fortune to spend - probably around Â£40 max - which I know is not that much. I'm saving for a decent set... these are going to be my in-betweenies!
So, has anyone got any ideas?

I bought these for about 40 quid a few years back and they've got pretty good sound and are cheaper now. I know Earthy has a set that are fairly funky too. Might be worth poking her and asking. :rascal:

Do you want portable speakers?
Or ones you wanna leave them at home to plug the ipod into?
Best option is to use one of those comparison web sites as they will give you the option to select a price range.

:jagsatwork: Just thought I'd mention that you can also use the headphone jack as well as the docking port to connect your speakers.

Seriously, I know nothing. I just have an iPod Nano, nothing more.
Erm, more for playing at home rather than travelling... in answer to previous post.

that is your 'plug socket' connection for the docking station (used in same way that a headphone socket is)
