I have only myself to blame
Why oh why didnt I buy an Escort Mexico or a Chevette confused:
but no I decided to buy a mini cooper for classic rallying,
So here I am head under the dash trying to fit the pre wiring for the cut off switch ,upside down feet in the air, an almost impossible piece of contortionism given the state of my back, fighting for my life to get the relevant clips on, when............
..........I move a little too quickly and I impale myself on the gear stick..from which I have of course removed the gear knob....
" ow bugger ow shit"...I now have a two inch red raw bloody scar right between my ass cheeks. I cant sit I cant stand. icant sleep
It took me twenty years to really grow to hate my 1275 gt but this little bastard has only taken a week
A sad sorry sore warwick reporting
warwick
i can sympathies totally mate 6 months ago i got my hands on a v12 xjs jaguar i now seam to spend all of my time with my arse in the air working on the thing
and if im lucky enough to get it out for a run the bloody thing does around 8 miles to the gallon
but you have to admit its like a woman a lot of hard work but great fun and worth every second of effort you put in rotflmao
If you did'nt have such a big fat arse
The gear stick would have missed wink
If I wasnt such "a big fat arse" I wouldnt have bought such a stupid bloody car in the first place lol
Warwick I sympathise with your plight my friend, however....... wink
If you think for one minute that we are buying this cock and bull story of how you're struggling to sit / lie down, then you're sadly mistaken. confused
I remember in another room when I posted a similar (and hopefully as plausible) posting, it was only when the other person involved posted the truth about the donkey did I have to accept I told porkies. lol
Warwick mate, as someone who has had a 2litre 16v engine, gearbox and subframe come within mm of crushing his hand, had white-hot metal run down his arm (while welding underneath the car), had arc-blindness and the usual watering eyes after welding, numerous burns, cuts and abrassions from engines, anglegrinders and sanders I can fully sympathise with your situation.
Hope your arse is back to it's usual fat self soon mate. :P wink biggrin
Clearly this thread is a rather thinly disguised request, for someone to go round and kiss Warwicks wounds better. If this is the case then it will take a braver freind than I to assist. I've got a small Dachshund that might just go for it, if you insert a doggie biscuit up yer box, but otherwise I guess you will have to suffer.
I could apply a plaster for you, although how this could be done makes the mind boggle. If the wound is deep then perhaps some stitches might be better although again given the area of the wound, it will be like trying to sew a button on to a fart.
Good to see yer back on line .
