Quote by sam21right startin of this is my opinion of the occult and "unexplained". I may be compleatly wrong, but hey here goes......i think ouija boards are a form of hypnosis, the reason i say this is because if you watched derran browns show where he took a load of students into an old school and set them up with the whole paranormal/...... a load of students commited suicide in this very building...type thing, then one of them became possessed by a "spirit". and the poor girl was in hysterics afterwards he then procceded to tell them that in fact no one has commited suicide in the building, and they were all dumbfounded, in fact they were relieved, i dont under estimate the power of some one wanting to get in touch with a person who they miss dearly, but i think that it is a case of the mind being so much stronger and indeed mysterious than we know off, and i think that hypnosis only works if you do actually believe that it will work....unfortunatly to back this up i have to make reference to celebrity fit club, where that royal correspondance geezer couldnt be put "under", but this was his inability to believe it works, if he had believed in hypnosis then he would have...without a doubt been susecptiable to manipulation by the hypnotherapist......so if ouija board is a type of hypnosis it would explain y some people get messages and y others dont....to be honest i hpe i am compleatly wrong, because it would be nice to believe in all this cause that would go some way as to letting us know if there is an afterlife ......!?
Without trying to sound morbid or weird I have a slight fascination for the unexplained and always love to read a good mystery and watch programmes about the occult etc. I was having a conversation with my friend the other day about a horror movie we watched recently called 'Witchboard' (about a woman who gets involved with a ouija board to disastarous consequence) and my friend suggested that we try a ouija board.......my initial reaction was that this might be a fun idea but as we started preparing it I had second thoughts and decided that it might not be a great idea....they say that curiosity killed the cat!
Has anyone here ever had any experience of ouija board and would they recommend it? Or any other stories about strange happenings?
