I see what you mean, heel, but there can be no rules about these sort of things, can there. Some people who join in a scenario in a playroom with others might love to indulge in a bit of social chitchat afterwards, others might deliberately NOT wish to.
For everyone it surely must be a case of trial and error - I cannot see how they could have been offended if you offered to buy them a drink later, a friendly "no thanks" would have been the worst reaction you would expect to have got.
Sounds like you had a good first visit, anyway. :thumbup:
