Out of Interest... do you watch topics?

..... How many of you guys actually opt to get the "Topic Reply Notifications" sent to you?
At the moment i do, but i'm on the forum so much, it seems a bit pointless, not to mention clogs up my inbox if i forget to delete them!!!!
Am i the only one?

I'm just about to take it off. Cos I only 'nip in' through the week it takes 3 or 4 minutes just to download the email responses. So I'm taling topic reply off and leaving PM notification on :cry: as I don't get many of them :cry: wink

I have that set as the default... if the thread looses interest for me then I click on the "dont bother" link... which is rare, lol.
You only get one e-mail no matter how many replys till you've reviewed the thread, so its not a problem... but the "plure pingie" that msn does can be a pain as my pc is close to where I sleep... and especially if I have outlook running as well, cos then I gtet a woommmbe about 2 mins later, lol.
My pc is on 24/7 as it host the web site, so most people know that away in msn messenger means I may or not be there, lol.

I just have it set for the Poetry Corner thread. And every day I get another notification, get all excited thinking there will be some new poetry for me to read, only to find it's MikeNorth saying "Bump!" rolleyes

Maybe I should write some more myself.... lol

yeah, well i agree with mark!!
just use it selectively... like wen u start a thread or a thread what interests you
or it its about something happening in your area!!
