I prefer to know where I stand and what the rules are. I wasn't 'here' before the takeover so I can't comment on before/after.
I don't feel I'm restricted personally.
Kiss Me, you look rather restricted in that bra though (in your avatar)!!!
Just teasing!
I can't think of a lot of major changes that have been made since the change over.
Maybe they're just more apparent as they have to be enforced more often i.e. More members = more muppets.
Do you have any specific examples?
Rules
Would that be 6" or a 12" one??
:giggle:
As an example then...one rule I don't like is chatrooms being closed because the person that created the room isn't there. We tried going on the chatrooms one Saturday night and the rooms were being closed all over the place. Now I understand the rule, but as an example, it is one rule that personally, I feel is a case of over regulation. I've just picked this as an example, most people probably support this rule. I could go on and on, but I don't want this to become a rant.
I just wanted really to see if anyone felt the same way.
I want this ot be a constructive post, I don't want anyone to feel that I am taking a pop at their good work.
So it's a chatroom complaint then?
No Freckle Bird, I was asked by a previous poster to give an example. I could have picked one about the Forum, but I am too chicken lol !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Though i wonder on the consistency at times the rules protect evryone and i'm sure most rules are bought in to close problems that have arisen in the past whatever part of the site we use.
As far as I am aware the only Forum rule which has changed is the one about posting of nudity pics on the open forums. Genital shots have never been allowed as avatars (well, not be allowed since I joined the site) and a change was made to stop them being posted in posts in the forums.
I cant think of any other new rules, but I do also know that a few rules have also been dropped.
As for over modding, I dont really want to comment, as it would be a biased view, but interested to see what others think.
