Ozzy Osbourne is not someone I know, but I have never had much respect for him untill i was told this my a very reliable source.
Ozzy played for the Queen at a party. One of those you just have to invite the Privy Council to. So after the concert he chats with Charley. Then he is introduced to Blair and his wife. He say hi and leaves them standing there.
Respect, yes I have a new respect for Ozzy now.

Why?Because he was rude to someone,or as is more likely given the state of his brain because he wandered off .
Oh no he was very nice to everyone, even manage not to swear the whole day...and he was civil enough to say hello. It was because he left that murdering ex-PM standing there wondering why he was not the centre of attention.
Blair ate his bat!

That is what Blair likes, and if he gets his boots like all the better.
Good old Ozzie.
Yeah man!
Im sure Ozzy, nowadays is a nice fella. He did however beat up Cheryl for most of their married life.
Im more interested in this "reliable source" you are going on about?.. was it the same guy who claimed WMD were actually in excistance?. That said, i think Blair's a top bloke. I reckon if he lead the conservatives then that would be a team to vote for!. He was pretty much a conservative anyway.
Blair did what he believed in, and he used all Info at hand to aid his decision making (no matter how ill informed)
And you may disagree with the above as much as i think your story is completely pointless and fabricated, but hey ho!! thats the joy of discussion
hey you know what i heard?.. And this is from my reliable source!..
I heard O.J simpson was actually innocent!!!
..... I too am talking absolute diarrhea of course lol
If I was in the position to have a posh party, the last person I would invite would be Ozzy O - what did they all expect?
Plim wink

your story in no way says that is what happened.
i would assume that at a party with the queen in attendance she would be the center of attention,
did he "snub"her, now that might earn some respect here
haa haaa!!

The reliable source is Tony Iommi. It happened when Black Sabbath played at the Queen's Golden Jubilee celebration a few years back. Iommi told the story in an interview he gave to Rick Wakeman on Planet Rock a couple of weeks ago. Blair went up to Iommi and Brian May, who was also there, and told them what a big fan of their music he was. Ozzy sidled over to join them and didn't seem to recognise Blair and just nodded and said "orlright".
Who's Cheryl, by the way?
I bet you dont my O.J Simpson source though do you? lol
and to be fair, yours was a very "on the money" answer. Fair play.

You been to IKEA then? loldon't knock IKEA... there are some intriguing items there.
Pervertables.
Items that may have a use as a standard piece of furniture, or a equipment, but with a little imagination, and a little adaptation... well... they can have quite "other" uses!

Ozzy >>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>
you.
Live with it.
When you can last 40 years in the music industry, never have an album that's considered a failure, help create an entire genre of music, then you can take the piss.
His missus has alienated a lot of his fans, but the man himself is beyond criticism. As I said previously, the first 6 Sabbath albums are brilliant. His early solo albums with Randy Rhoads (RIP) are awesome.
Yes, I'm a fan. His wife and kids are not important to me. The fact that he's created some of the finest music ever made is.
bands being what they are, sabbath would have been something else without ozzy. so maybe he was just the noise on the mike, but his presence was sabbath. however in recent years he's become an overdose victim. the dreadful sharon is doing what any mum needs to do to keep the family provided.
Ozzy is a joke and as for Bliar he did a few things that were good and one thing that was bad, guess the bad thing was pretty terrible and he deserves to be marched off to the Hague but lets not forget the minimum wage, working tax credits, funding for environmental projects, moves towards the removal of the house of lords and the realignments for the retirment ages.
Black Sabbath were Black Sabbath because of not in spite of Ozzy, they are inextricably linked, as so many other bands are only as big as the front man which equal's most of them. That's the point of front men in that they give the band image just anything else that's decorated it's there to appeal to others.
And as to whether Sabbath were good? Of course they were whether you like them or not is a personal matter but Sabbath Headed by Ozzy were a phenomenon and phenomenal. I love rock though i will admit to not liking a lot of Sabbath stuff but what I do like I'm sure glad I do. as to Ozzy and if I like him I can't say I've never met him but i find him fantastically charismatic.
Long live rock

lets not get carried away mate...

I stand by that statement. Sabbath, a band that Ozzy helped form, are arguably the most influential rock band ever. Certainly, every metal band owes a huge deal to Sabbath. Even people you may not think of were influenced by them. Everyone from Kurt Cobain to Johnny Marr (who has admitted to learning to play by strumming along to Volume 4) owe something to Sabbath.
Listen to Live...Evil, the live album Sabbath made with Ronnie James Dio on vocals back in the early 80's, and you will hear that Sabbath songs without Ozzy (NIB, Paranoid etc) just don't sound right, somehow. I love Dio's voice, but those songs are missing something without Ozzy's vocals.
