as FB has said... you are going to have to define "nice" as it is so vauge i wouldn't have a clue what it means at the mo....
you might want to think about attending a munch as a way to chatting to and meeting members from all across the site in a non-pressured atmosphere.......

I know what you mean - try to avoid the parties for all and sundry... they tend to get the most mingers.
Have a look around the photos ads for the lovely couples that don't do open invites and start chatting to them. You will find these people are much more selective about who they invite and they try to get the right balance of people who will click.

when you say nice people....i assume you mean attractive?
there are clubs and parties that do require photos before you get an invite......but be careful,because you may get turned down yourself...

maybe you should have a look at my thread on " how do you see yourself"....as has been said maybe your expectations are set at a level which is not achievable by the people who attend the parties you have been at.
remember take people as you find them......and adapt yourself to the situation , failing that ....exit stage left!

The parties we have been to have always had 'nice' people there...... some may not be as good looking as others but they are still nice people... in fact most who regard themselves as ''nice'' as you put it are both boring and rude up themselves people who really think too much of themselves to actually pleasure anyone other than themselves.
