Is it just me, or is anyone else pissed off with these people? They post an advert, absolutely DEMANDING a facial pic, cock pic etc, and saying they will NEVER reply to someone that doesn't post. Yet they won't post any of their own!!!! I have to be careful about my pics cos of the job, so I find it hard work putting my pic in the private "invite only" section, and then inviting each and every advertiser. But if I can manage it, why can't they? Bloody time wasting buggers! I'd appreciate your views! Andrew.
Know where you're coming from, I replied to an ad with a face pic, and got a reply back arranging a meet, when I asked for a face pic so I knew who I was meeting got the brush off saying no can do, what's wrong with sending one back when you've taken the trouble.
its not ideal people with out pics ...but try to get know them first and ask them what look like at some point they will have to send you pic.. obviously not months later!... if they look nothing like they said or do not do anything for you take it on the chin and move on mate.. thats my advice

:thumbup: I'm not sure whether you're just talking about ads Ruislip, but as you've mentioned yourself, many of us here are a little cagey about putting facial pics (any pics in my case) up where anyone who looks can see them.... nosey neighbours seraching within 0 miles of your postcode, for example. I'll always send them privately if asked, but never usually on the first chat. You make up your own mind if that's any good or not but it works for me.
On our profile and ad are pics of Shel, body only. We state in our ad that we neither SEND OUT OR ASK FOR facial pics. Two reasons for this, 1, like many people on here don't want to be recognised by all and sundry. 2, we don't judge people on looks alone. We've met (and had fun with) some absolutly stunning looking women, and we've also had fun with women some might class as "plain" looking, but who's personality shone like a beacon!! We think that if you judge people on looks alone then you will certainly miss out on some great times!! John & Shel
We would never meet anyone without seeing a face picture first and we wouldn't expect anyone to meet us if they hadn't seen pictures of us either... I have recently had an experience where a "couple" refused to send any pictures at all. I, in return refused to continue any further discussion with them.

:thumbup: Since making all my pictures private I have had several PM's simply asking "can I see your pics?" :doh: Happy to let my friends see my private gallery etc but not just any tom, dick or harry!! That's why they are private!
I/we would never meet anyone without seeing face pictures and yet I don't have any of myself on site. Ian has a private gallery, I don't However I will turn my cam on in the chatroom and I would consider emailing one if I felt comfortable with the person. I'm just not comfortable with my mug shot being on a website
At first I din't have a facial pic but decided to put one up. They can't view them as guests anyway, that is right isn't it? I don't suppose I would be bothered if it was someone I knew if they could, it's just people from work it could be a problem with
Sounds like this really aggravates you ruislip32... I can understand that, since being a man on here is hard work, but that is how it is. It is not equal... girls get swamped with mails the moment they get on here, and I recon even more so if they put pictures up, and that might be one reason they don't. my advice is, just let it brush over you...

The immediate answer is (and probably has already been said) Don't reply to those ads then! There are several reasons why people make such a request (again some of these may have already been mentioned and this list is in no way exhaustive) 1 - They want to make sure exactly what you look like as they have ended up meeting some right minging-munters with tiny limp wieners in the past. 2 - They get lots of replies and it makes the selection process more straightforward if you don't have to go hunting around and playing PM-ping-pong with 50 people at a time. 3 - There are people who describe themselves as 'very good looking' and 'extremely sexy' in their profiles and quite frankly if they honestly believe what they have typed they should be sanctioned under the mental health act - photos help to check that one. 4 - Asking for several photos helps to spot inconsistency... such as the face shot is in black and white with a Ford Anglia parked in the background (under the bunting for the coronation) and the body shots seem to have continuity problems with body hair (colour and density in particular). 5 - Some people like looking at photos. 6 - If it is your ad you can request what you want... it doesn't mean you will get it, but why compromise on what you want? 7 - They enjoy having a laugh at the photos they get sent – I have near-on wet myself at some which I have been sent in the past (without even requesting them) 8 - Did I mention it saves time? (especially if your mailbox has a through rate equivalent to Waterloo Station footfall). 9 - They have set high standards to their demands to put off the timewasters. 10 - They have set high standards to their demands to put off the other photo collectors asking for pics of the missus being fucked. 11 – They are making a collage. 12 – It’s you mother and it is the only way she can get recent photos from you (you really should stay in touch more)

It never ceases to amaze me how many offers people make to meet with no request for a face pic first. Sometimes I see just how far they go before asking - if they don't ask at all... I don't meet them. Even if looks are not top of your list - surely people want to make sure they introduce themselves to the right person? (or worse still – avoid meeting their uncle/boss/subordinate/ex/neighbour/dentist/etc.)
We get asked for photos a lot,which we don't mind sending after we have gotten to know people a bit and verified they are actually a couple,usually by webcam all chatting together and a phone call girl to we still get the usual " we don't have a webcam,or got no mobile and land line is out of order etc etc". But this is always going to happen no matter what in profile,ads etc,so we just get on with things and don't let it bother us soon know who is genuine and who not. xxx
I don't do demands and not very many requests either come to that. You can usually get a feeling from people, that's why I like to get to know them first. Saying that I do have pics on here and my avatar although small ( and I'm not bragging there lol ) you can vaguely see my face, and it don't get any better than that regardless how much I spend in that well know girly make up catalogue. I've had more than my fair share of show me a pic of ..... people. They can take it or leave it. I understand about the fact that you don't really want to advertise in your local neighbourhood but then again most of my nice friends on here live quite a few miles away and are great mates, so to them, no prob if they ask. But to a perfect stranger - I doubt it very much as there are a lot of dark sheep out there in inet land who are just pic collector - but thankfully not all.
