People in the South
Hi people
we'll we are from the south too, West Sussex to be exact. Trouble is we have been tryingto organise parties for months now and most of the time, despite lots of interest you guys seem shy of turning up.
We always see lots of chit chat about and lots of people saying they are up for meets yet having spoken to over 500 guys in the past year we met just 10 and 4 of those we already knew.
It not as if we charge either we play at home and all it costs is the price of a packet of 3's
Maybe at 50 we are just too old for everyone here or maybe you all think we are too ugly or too grey or too something.
What troubles us most of all is the lack of good manners of course people have lives apart from swinging but a simple text message or a quick email cost nothing more then a few seconds to send. But there are guys here who have made arrangements to meet and simply vanish of the face of this earth, only to return 3 months later and ask for another date and time and they dont turn up the secoind time either. Needless to say they never get a third invite.
The main reason wny people up north get more fun is they are more open minded, and a lot more honest than us southerners. They also have a greater sense of adventure and a better sense of humour

Well All the Admin Squirelss live in Portsmouth or Southampton, the SH office is in Segensworth.

well seeing as Segensworth is right in the middle between soton & pompy i think you should hold the munch in sh HQ
a travel lodge or two very close as well for people coming from further away sounds a great idea to me :D

I reckon you'll find that meeting single guys off the internet is the same regardless of whether they are from up north or down south. I disagree with all of your assumptions about southerners. Also judging the honesty of southerners on the basis that lots of single guys don't show up for meets with you i find very bizarre.

nah... it's not the North vs South thing goin on here is it?
I think you will find a lot of peeps on SH me included would not go to a meet unless it was posted on SH & then for security & privacy's sake it would have be hosted by a 'known munch organizer'
anything less would have to be a social & even then I would never go to a social hosted by an 'unknown' sorry for the unfortunate use of words but I hope you get my drift.
Personally I don't have that much time right now, but I know there are like minded guys n gals here who would love to hook up with you.
keep dipping your toe in the water... build up your fan base meet new peeps & bingo!!!
when you start to post for a new social you know you will have a full house... all for the pack of three :giggle:

Have to agree..we are from the south (Bristol) and we go to lots of events..however, as it says above we would not to a party in the home of people we did not know..in the same way that, when I was single, I would not meet anyone in their own home either. Best to meet people on 'neutral' ground first (socials, munches) and get yourself known on here...then have a party and, I'm sure, plenty will turn up
