This Isnt a pry into anybodys lives and just wanted to say its so sad to see so many great people leaving expecially over the last few days. Although I havent met anyone from the site Ive always found everyone to be pleasent, helpful and open minded at the very least. I just hope everyone who feels they need to leave for whatever reasons gets things sorted out in their own heads/loves for the better of what ever their current situations.
Im just wondering though if in some way this forum has some self destructive properties as well as all the other great ones. Yes undoubtedly people have problems and at the end of the day this is just a website and although many people here are very close/friendly with one another it isnt real life (in its best form anyway!) I hope that didnt sound bad and im not slagging of this site as I think its one of the best resources/communities on the net and the mods/[people that use the site are most definetly the ones that make this site what it is (other than all the other really useful free info !)
Is there something in the philosiphy of SH that has a self destructive property in relationship (being a web based community!) or is it swinging itself?? Is it better to be more open??
I prefer the openess thing myself as I grew up in a family full of secerts and things swept under the carpet?? Or is it that everyone is too open which inevitbly causes mass self destructive thoughts/behaviours/ actions within relationships??
Sorry If im not making sense just something I had been thinking about??

hmmmm - i'm not sure why the last few days have seen so many faces leaving, corrie, lucifer, calista and morbius, alex_female, JGL (ok, he came back but he still went!!) and i think theres 2 people i've forgotton, sorry! maybe its the time of year, or weather or something!
I can see your point about the self destructive qualities, i can remember a time when i was on here every spare second, and true enough, you do seem to forget about the other things in your life that are important.
