We know a song about this, don't we children?
"The boys watch the girls while the girls watch the boys who watch the girls go by
Eye to eye, they solemnly convene to make the scene
Which is the name of the game, watch a guy watch a dame on any street in town
Up and down and over and across ......."
Tis a good pass-time, although I'm convinced there's a servere shortage of full legnth mirrors in South Wales.
Wonders off in search of the nearest Asda.

ditto mike, thought i was the only one who did and thought that lol
as with Niceguysetc... Im a watcher on the tube...
Patterns forming...knots tieing and undoing..
one platform (for I watch on the platforms... when in a carriage Im nose-down in a book) I generally use has a double curve in it...Ill usually be at one end waiting for a train with the appropraite destination... so Ill see both platforms well...
... of course the human tide carries quite a varied flotsam... fascinating and constantly changing...
there must surely be some theory behind the flows..
but I have to ask.. every f*cking time, no matter how far away I try to remain... why the helldoes someone have to come and stand next to me???
cant they tell, that as they ambled up the platform, I'd already had enough time to judge them fully and place them in the catagory of *detestable*?
lpnice bloke really
all these munch watchers......nnnnnnnnnnnnnnooooooooooooooooooooooo  I am going to my first munch in December.......now I'll spend all my time watching for the watchers and see if theyre watching me....I'll be like a rabbit caught in the headlights...to scared to move.
Cos I am all quiet ad shy and retiring like a delicate wallflower.
Another avid people watcher here, quite often it was the only way to stay sane during the daily commute.
Interestingly, in recent years it has even become a source of income for my business sector - going under the glorified name of Ethnography or Ethnographics..... (nothing to do with ethnicity).
Simply, observing peoples behaviour and reporting on what you saw them do rather than asking them what they think they did....
