I love nothing better than sitting outside a nice cafe in lovely weather, huge pot of a tea, newspaper, chilling and best of all watching the world go by. Heck do you see some things! smile
Today I did it slightly different, I sat in Asda car park with a bottle of water and watched the workmen......... hard rippling muscles glistening in sweat, hammering away at the road!! :P :P
I'm getting into this!! Wonder if they work Bank Holidays? lol
Anyone else like people watching?

im a sod for shoe watching, makes me laugh the colour combo some women with put together with shoes and tights confused
We know a song about this, don't we children?
"The boys watch the girls while the girls watch the boys who watch the girls go by
Eye to eye, they solemnly convene to make the scene
Which is the name of the game, watch a guy watch a dame on any street in town
Up and down and over and across ......."
I love people watching too.
Apart from having a bit of a shoe fetish redface I love to watch how people walk. Who's feet point outwards, who's are pidgeon toed. surprisedops:
Tis a good pass-time, although I'm convinced there's a servere shortage of full legnth mirrors in South Wales.
Wonders off in search of the nearest Asda.

Ooooh i love a bit of people watching lol . When we get bored at work we love nothing more than trying to figure people out for example is that his wife or mistress. Also discussing whether certain people have a mirror at home  !!!!. I do get some work done honest!!.

I like it too but I find it a bit frustrating at times when your trying to work out who they are from what they look like confused sometimes theres too many to go around asking everyone who they are.

Oh no! I love it. I think its a form of voyeurism without the sexual twist. I love just watching the world go by....
I so love people watching ....especially if they happen to be female great legs and a nice bum wink
Seriously I do love watching the human kalaidescope that gets shook up and rearranged before your eyes every couple of minutes.
My favourite place of all time for people watching ...The London tube ....you just never know whats coming through the doors....the variety and originality is awe inspiring some times not just in sartorial terms but also in character .I do so love & admire those who are creative and brave enough to plough their own furrows.

Wonderful post NGDE - I also love people-watching, people of all types really. Sometimes I just concentrate on what people are wearing, and think - he chose that, she chose that. Pretty well everyone chooses what they buy to wear, and ...well...sometimes it's almost quite moving. smile
I giggle when I see *his and her* jackets lol Bless.........
Does anyone here do that??
ditto mike, thought i was the only one who did and thought that lol

That's great to hear! smile
as with Niceguysetc... Im a watcher on the tube...
Patterns forming...knots tieing and undoing..
one platform (for I watch on the platforms... when in a carriage Im nose-down in a book) I generally use has a double curve in it...Ill usually be at one end waiting for a train with the appropraite destination... so Ill see both platforms well...
... of course the human tide carries quite a varied flotsam... fascinating and constantly changing...
there must surely be some theory behind the flows..
but I have to ask.. every f*cking time, no matter how far away I try to remain... why the helldoes someone have to come and stand next to me???
cant they tell, that as they ambled up the platform, I'd already had enough time to judge them fully and place them in the catagory of *detestable*?
lpnice bloke really

As the old saying goes 'theres nowt sa queer as folk' lol
I love people watching. I've spent soooo much time doing it. It's fab! sillyhwoar: I went to Soho a couple of weeks ago with my best mate on a Monday afternoon. We sat outside a bar eating, drinking and chatting and just watched the world go by. "There's nowt so queer as folk"
i love people watching and do it all the time, when working, in the supermarket and especialy at socials and munches lol
see so many things that others dont seem to notice when sitting quietly somewhere
all these munch watchers......nnnnnnnnnnnnnnooooooooooooooooooooooo  I am going to my first munch in December.......now I'll spend all my time watching for the watchers and see if theyre watching me....I'll be like a rabbit caught in the headlights...to scared to move.
Cos I am all quiet ad shy and retiring like a delicate wallflower.
Another avid people watcher here, quite often it was the only way to stay sane during the daily commute.
Interestingly, in recent years it has even become a source of income for my business sector - going under the glorified name of Ethnography or Ethnographics..... (nothing to do with ethnicity).
Simply, observing peoples behaviour and reporting on what you saw them do rather than asking them what they think they did....
