Pete has asked me to let everyone know that he has had a change of circumstances in his family life that have lead to a change in his profile. This has caused him to be away from the site for quite a while and he wants to let you all know he's still around but intermittantly. The last thing he wants to do is appear to be creating a me post so I volunteered to do it for him.
Obviously it goes without saying that this change in circs is a difficult one for Pete and your support and encouragement will obviously mean the world to him.

Then let me please reach out to all those wonderful people who have replied in this thread, and to those who have pmâ€™ed, e-mailed and / or called and sent me texts. Without you guys there would be a very different Pete sitting here at this keyboard right now.
Caron left me three weeks ago now after 29 years (on the 11th of next month) of marriage, partnership and friendship, three great kids, and a lot of life experiences. When I say she left me, in truth, I woke up one morning and she was gone, leaving not only me behind her, but also a very confused little boy. All this to move in with a toyboy with whom she has been having clandestine relations with for several months.
Now I am not going to go into any more detail than that, firstly because I do not want this to turn into some kind of â€˜cleansing outpouringâ€™ (one of you will get that in pm one of these days lol

) and secondly because her victâ€¦â€¦ermâ€¦â€¦.. I mean her lover could well be a member of this site, so enough said.
The reason I have mentioned the above is in some small way an explanation to the many friends on here who have asked me over the last 18 months, â€œwtf is wrong with you, there have been at least 2 threads that you could really have added your voice to todayâ€ etc etc. so now you know lol.
It has taken a lot of â€˜looking on the insideâ€™ to write this post, and right now I still do not know if I will hit the submit button.
What I would like this post to achieve is
a) to show people in this situation that you can move on, and
b) to thank the very very genuine, real and caring people on this site for your kind support.
When it all came tumbling down I was about ready to call it a day. Remove the account, and sit and wallow in my own self pity. I thought that now being a single male, whatâ€™s the use dunno

then your messages came flooding in, people phoned me, sent me texts and suddenly the essence of not only this site, but the whole lifestyle came home to me. I thank you all from the bottom of my heart, weather you know it or not, each and every one of you, even with the smallest comment, have pulled a life from the abyss and I will always be in your debt.
Right, enough of that, I have a rep to uphold here (oh while I think of it, could some kind admin type person please change my status to single :thumbup: I have tried but I seem to be doing something wrong :dunno:
I am not leaving the site, and whatâ€™s more, I intend to stay with the lifestyle. I have made far too many friends on here to just throw it all away. I thank you all for everything you have done for me, but donâ€™t think that I will let you off lightly if I find a piss taking opportunity :lol: Pete_sw is dead, long live the new (and improved) Pete_sw
I love you people, never change, and thank you for my sanity.

Pete. What can I say that hasn't already been said and what I haven't already said in private.
You are truly a star. Anyone that can put up with my drunken, throwing-up ass is ace in my books. I love you and I mean that from the bottom of my yankie heart.
p.s. Does this mean that you will be outside ..erm...helping with the noises at next years BBQ ??
