Does anyone know if its true about daddy long legs being v posinous:
Sort of, vertigo is a symptom - a feeling of unsteadiness or that you're about to fall.
Whilst I agree that it's perfectly possible to suffer from vertigo whilst lying in bed (it's the bit where you come home too drunk and go to bed, but every time you close your eyes the room starts spinning), it's also commonly set off by heights - in my case, I only have to be a foot or two off the ground and my stomach can start doing somersaults. I think that's probably why I end up with a dislike of heights, rather than the dislike being the cause of the vertigo, though now the two end up going hand in hand.
