Photo uploads *should* now work fine.

Noel,
Can you confirm for me my suspicions that if you don't have a postcode/town listed then you can't upload pics? I've tried a few times and never managed but I don't get an error message .

The photo upload has no connection with the postcode/town information. Try and upload a jpg image via my photos and PM me with what happens...

as you seem to be the one to ask How do I put my pic on so that when I post a note it is not the cartoon character and I can put mine

Go into My Account the click on the Forum Settings link, click on a picture to select it as your avatar (also make sure that the show avatar option on the left if selected.

Noel........can you confirm Private pics are now secure and no longer open to the world?

All photographs are reviewed before going live on the site, those that are not suitable for under 18's are not shown to anyone apart from members (who have to confirm that they are over 18), sounds like your pics will be ok so long as they are not illegal, show children or are offensive.
People logged in to the site can see all of the photo's apart from the ones that are ticked private and not ticked public (yes that bug is fixed). The only peeps that can view the private pictures are those that you send invites to.
