Most of my pics are taken using the time delay on my webcam.
I try to experiment with unusual effects to get a reasonable shot.
If you actually saw me in the act of trying to take a shot for my avatars you would wet yourself laughing
The bodystocking has me lay across the arm of the chair in a hotel - attempting to keep some kind of dignity, Towels over the lamp shades to tone down the lighting.
A photographer friend told me that for a shot like that – you should elongate the body – which I attempted to do. I took the pic seconds before I slid off the chair onto the floor!
The feather boa ones are taken in my home office, the ‘golden’ lighting is a halogen heater – propped up on a bookcase at the side. I wanted it to be just at the right height to cast shadows in the right places. I never try to look sultry (I just look miserable when I do), so smiles (cheekier the better) are always the order of the day for me (my normal state anyway)
I am thinking of doing a digital photography course at night school. I know I have a laugh taking my avatar pics, but I am becoming more interested in the composition and lighting effects now.
I absolutely loathe having my photo taken........ it stems from being dragged in front of the camera for pics for Grandma...... to everyday stuff like photo security passes.....

I've always hated having my pics taken, especially ones with my face in as I hate the way I smile, it's so false.
The ones I have on the site are mainly series ones and I get one that I really like, the rest are deleted.
