In perusing the new phones on offer in various shops I realised something. You can get black phones, silver phones or PINK phones.
Where are the white, the blue, the green, the brown, the gold, the bronze, the red?
For crying out loud - the only colour other than black or silver is the one colour I wouldn't be seen dead carrying.
While trying to avoid insulting anyone for whom pink is a favourite - it really is such a girly colour. And those who have met me will (I think) agree I am anything but girly. I's love a phone in bronze or steel-blue. But at least I'd like a choice.

Plenty of colours out there if you're not fussy about make and model.
A few years ago I was guilty of choosing a phone simply because it was a gorgeous metallic red colour. Crap phone but it lasted about 18 months then I went back to a bog-standard and rather boring but entirely useful Nokia.
I worked in the industry for a good number of years and was a buyer of phones from the manufacturers, as part of the deals I used to negotiate different colours and pink was always a top seller.
I have an HTC phone myself (pees all over the i-phone for those who have one or are considering one) and I had a special see through cover made for me, so you can see all the guts of the phone.
It helped due to my position obviously, but there are companies out there who do cases for all models of phones, you just need someone willing to take your old one off and put your new one on as it is a little tricky on some phones.
