Hi Guys and Gals.
This my first post so be nice please.
I was reading the older topics read one that inspired me to take the plundge. biggrin

We have not met anybody from this site and really like the idea. What is the best way to take our first steps and make sure we both remain comfortable?
p.s sorry about the bad spelling confused

Weclome to the forums and really hope you have fun round here.
I am on the way out now, so cant do a long post but the best way to take the first steps is to make sure you are both 100% comfortable in what you are doing, only go as far as you both agree and remember, there is no rush to do anything, tomorrow is always another day!
Im sure someone else will be along shortly with a better, more detailed answer, but in the meantime, join in with the banter and have a fun lol

Edit - if you think your spelling bad, wait till you see a few of my posts redface

Hi and welcome to the crazy house. I am just here as a supervisor ... I am not actually crazy.
My only advice I can give is to dive into the forums at your own comfort level, try and get to a munch or five and be yourselves.
p.s. I am allowed to spell bad ...it's in my nature. We take great pride in ruining your wonderful English language!! ;)

The best way to remain comfortable is to just go at your own pace.
Chat in the forums/chat room or perv look through the ads & profile and talk to people when you feel happy & comfortable doing so.

A munch is a social gathering where you can meet other likeminded people in non-scarey surroundings. If you look on the other section of the forum entitled 'Let's Meet Up' there are a list of current events. The first post usually contains instructions as to how to join the list.
This is of course... unless you are unlucky enough to live near me where there are no munches LOL..

Do you have any idea how brave it would be to organise one? LMAO I am such a fraidy cat. Pretty lame considering at one point in my career I wa san events organiser!

A munch virgin? That was me a few months ago.
The more I think about it, the more it seems a good idea. I'll ponder on it for a few days and talk to Mr TN. We can't really travel far so are more often than not unable to attend most events.

Well if you can't travel, maybe you could start by organising a small social/ pub meet for people in your area. dunno

i was lucky i found a great woman who took me to a fantastic club called townhouse.
it was very relaxin and no pressure at all.
she told me to just enjoy the experience look around chil out and dont worry take things at your own pace!
i ad a great time!!!
have fun in what ever u decide to do
