Never ever open a .exe file on msn, with the internet today you cant trust anyone. Paranoia won't hurt at all. Most other files are fine though, just not exe's.
It must be a chain thing goin on then hitting everyones buddies, like watching a line of dominos fall down. Hrm, thanks for tellin us, defo keep in mind not to open any links from people callin ya a loser

As a general rule of thumb...... If you're not expecting it then don't open it. Most of these virus' spread through human curiousity. It also helps if you tie your anti-virus software into messenger, so it scans all files transferred before they have a chance to do anything.
