Just want to say thanks to Devon1 for organising the Munch at Plymouth last night.
I enjoyed what time I had there and am very pleased to have met so many of you again.

Hiya all,
Yep another successful evening, shame we had to leave so soon, but we had a good night, nice to meet everyone new and old, well done again Devon 1and i am sure Skimpy helped out!! Nice costume! :thumbup: But Marcuso did have the scariest costume, well it scared me anyway!
Looking forward to the next one already!

and i lost my mobile.
and i lost everyone en route to the other hotel...
and i didn't have a clue where i was...
and i had no money and all the cash points were out of action...
until i found one about 2 miles and 1 hour later,,,
will post a proper reply when i get back to North Yorkshire

Postie you were in our Taxi to the hotel... then Marmalaide gave you a lift.
Last I saw you still had money... although not all of your clothes.... agree the cashpoint thing did suck... I couldn't find one either.
The rest is still a bit fuzzy to me... although I distictly remember you dressed as a postman.

A very big thankyou to Devon1, Stumpy :twisted: errrr Skimpy, and Marcuso for organising various parts of Saturday & Ice Man for being crazy enough to let us in his hotel room.. And a big thankyou to everyone who turned up for being so increadably nice.
I am not going to name any names... because with my memory I will leave someone out
(onlyme1981)... but I will just say that I enjoyed meeting everyone I spoke to. Not to mention that some people really wern't how I imagined, and others definately were. Considering I hadn't met anyone before, my first ever munch was not at all scary... and the advice to circulate was well timed and very well recieved.
And before any nasty rumours start circulating about how dutch I am, or how naughty I was in the bar... I would just like to get in there first and say I treated it as a social event, kept my virginity intact, and went home a very happy man that I had had such a great night out with lovely people. (and must confess to having sobered up before I started being naughty
ops: :oops: so I have no excuse) Definately not my last munch, and I do hope to see ya-allll again sometime.

p.s. choosing to walk back to the hotel after the munch (a five minute walk in my rose tinted memory) turned out to be more like an hour epic! getting lost ending up on the beach at the hoe? but after meeting some very funny (extreamly drunk) people i did make it in one piece....
my first munch i can`t believe i`m still sane? but wait i would go to another one so i must be insane

Right, back home after a great day yesterday. For the arrangements, thanks to Devon and Skimpy (really gotta think hard before I say that now!), Marcuso, who transformed from urbane city dweller in the afternon to manic Hawaiian Halloween by night, and Ice fer the badges. Ice I owe you at least a couple of beers next time judging by the Kronenborg bottle I woke up with.
Great bunch of people - really good to see some old friends and meet some new ones. A few real pleasant surprise shows as well.
Thank you everybody who made Mrs TE (Angelica) feel particularly welcome on her first get- together. She and I really appreciated it - I'm sure she'll tell you herself later. Telling her she looked a bit seedy in the car on the way back then caught sight of meself in the mirror :shock: We're both going fer a lie down now.
Devon said that the next one will be at a private venue - there were certainly enough there to warrant that in future.

At last night's munch - being Halloween an' all I dressed up in this scary outfit with a really ugly mask etc. Saw Vix come in and sit down so thought I'd go over and give her the horror treatment. :twisted:
She didn't bat an eyelid until I pulled the mask off and she nearly jumped off her chair :shock: :shock: :shock:
I've already sent me letter off to the Hammer House of Horror (do they still make films?)
Just think, Postie and Marcuso are just about passing Birmingham now :giggle:
