May I be so bold as to suggest that it is because they want to use it the same way people use the "who`s viewed my profile ?" option!
As an excuse to send messages to the viewer saying
" You viewed my add, I love yours, what did you think of mine ? "
Or in the case of friends:
" I see you`ve added me to your friends list, are you interested in meeting up ? "
Or
" You have had me on your freinds list for a long time isn`t it about time I came round and shagged Mrs Flower ? "
We have a profile and we put ads on now and then and I chat a lot in the chat rooms, personally I really don`t want to give people another excuse for sending even more junk mail. :sparring:
I have to agree that it is a bad idea. Hope I havent p'd anyone off. Will cogitatae longer before steaming in.
