Pre-meet butterflies/Post-meet low...

Am I the only person (I'm odd, so quite possibly! lol

) who goes through a real rollercoaster of emotions prior to and after a meet?
I love the pre-meet butterflies. All that anticipation, the build up :happy: I just think it's brill!
But then, after a meet (or to some extent an eagerly anticipated Munch or Social) I get a bit of an anti-climax kinda low feeling... confused

Not that the meet itself has usually been an anti-climax, more that I have enjoyed the build up soooo much, that when that and the meet itself are over I'm kinda deflated.

No you're not weird, I get this all the time, even when the meet has been really fantastic, the aftermath leaves like a ......... oh i dunno, like ':shock: oh no, its over' kind of feeling.
but then theres always the build up to the next one wink

:thumbup: Yep, that's exactly it. Think is probably even worse when you do have a really good meet.

I find that, and then you get disappointed at yourself for feeling that way rolleyes

I would assume everyone gets pre meet nerves, followed by (well for us as a couple) a few days of rampant sex recalling the fun we've had redface

then it kind of goes flat for a few days - probably cos we're abs. knackered! wink

Remember when you were child at Christmas. The excitment, the build up, not being able to sleep the night before and the joy of opening your presents.
But the day after: Boxing day - turkey sandwiches, writing thankyou letters and an old film. Somethings never change.
