pre wedding nerves

is it just me or is it generally a man thing to get pre wedding nerves?
myself and mrs dpg (to be) are finally tieing the knot this fri after all these years together we have gone through countless things together some nervous and some not so nervous situations i.e the most nervous so far is attending the births of each of my 4 daughters.
but i can honestly say that the thought of standing in front of all our wedding guests and doing the bit (so to say) has filled me with absolute dread and fear to the point where i cant sleep or eat and the closer it gets the worse it becomes
come on folks please tell me all is normal in my behaviour!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

we been married for nearly 5 years now but yeah i was ill before the day with pre-wedding nerves ..think most people get them ..

well 3 days to go and ive managed to keep my tea and breakfast down smile

must be half the bottle of kalms tablets ive taken and yes before you all say it i know its all psycological but if it works i dont care

LOL Good Luck!
Morbius was apparently green the first time he got married and still pissed from the stag night during the second time!
I only got nervous when I was walking in with my Dad and thats only because he made me really nervous holding my hand so tight LMAO.

I was so nervous that morning I forgot to brush my teeth. Had to get the driver to stop at a shop and nip out for some mints for me redface

I was nervous but I have to say that it was one of the best days of my life, being a quiet sort of person the ceremony and speeches were a bit daunting, but its your wedding and whatever you say you aint going to get critiqued on it, just enjoy it and congrats from me.

Being nervous now is good, by the time it gets to Friday you will probably feel a lot calmer :therethere:
There really isn't anything to worry about. You are getting married to the person you love in front of people that care for you.
The day will go so fast so make an effort to remember certain things, relax and enjoy it.
Some of us only do it once :lol2:

now 2 days to go the kalms tabs have gone out the window as they are no longer working lol

now starting to tremble a little!!!!!! was wide awake at 2am this morn its getting worse went for a curry last night and only ate a nan bread not like me although the 10 pints of stella went down well.
and to top it all off mrs dpg (to be) has started feeling sick as well :lol: :lol: but she is trying to tell me its the baby (7 months preg) with yet another girl :lol: but i know shes lying as she is very quiet which is most unlike her
ive now become a trembling insomniac with an eating disorder :lol: :lol: :lol: :lol: :lol:
help!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
p.s thanks for the words of comfort you lot (they aint workin) tho

just a quick update mrs dpg is now on the kalms lol

serves her right for taking the pi**
as her evening attire hasnt been delivered yet she has been out on the street to check which of the neighbours will be in tomorrow i have just had to write a note to stick on the door for the delivery man/woman (being politically correct) saying
please note if no answer then see sheila next door if shes not in pop over the road and see janine at 45 if shes not in go 0.5 mile down the road to 165 and see mavis and failing that can you go 2 miles accross the estate and see my mate wendy at 26 ******** rd basically dont leave the bloody estate without delivering it somewhere thank you very much

other than that all is now fine and if its gonna go wrong now tough sh** cos theres nowt i can do about it smile
