Hypocrisy, and I mean hypocrisy on a grand scale.
I've always been a closet, secret admirer of John Prescott, until now, fool that I've been. There was a moment in 1997, when Harriet Harman, and Tony B liar, sent their kids to schools most people could only ever dream of sending theirs, expense being the unassailable problem, there was a moment when Prescott could, and maybe should have said what I thought he really felt, but he stayed quiet, kept his own council, but with politics comes the advantages and rewards that aren't necessarily open to the rest of us.
Being a raving capitalist pig, by definition, someone that believes that most of us, given the opportunity to ''Better'' ourselves, would.
I mean who wouldn't want a better life for their family, their children, more money, a nice home, and all the trappings that hard work and ''success'' brings, success being a relative term.
I've now had the misfortune to watch Prescott on his ''Class programme'' on BBC 2, what a complete and utter moron he has shown himself to be. He's a bully, a hypocrite, and quite frankly, a complete and absolute liar. Even he, I'm quite sure, doesn't believe the crap he's spouting.
He talks a ''good fight'', says all the things one might expect from someone that truly believes, or pretends to believe, all that he's saying, but in fact he is the biggest liar of all, because he's lying to himself, but who's the real fool ? Well that's me, I don't live in a multi-million pound home, nor do I have fortunes in the bank, but I take comfort in one thing, I don't go on television and spout a load of unadulterated nonsense, for which Prescott has doubtless been paid vast sums of money.
I'm sorry I ever admired him, sorry I was suckered into believing he was a good man, he isn't. Like his ex-boss, another liar a person that has feathered his own nest, AND HOW, at the expense of the truth. Blair couldn't even be honest about his Catholicism, until he left office, How sad is that ?
Prescott has taken as much as he can get his grubby, fat, sweaty and grasping hands on, and will doubtless continue to feed at the high table that has afforded him so much. I may be poor by his standards, but I haven't had to sell my soul, or betray the principles that have governed my life. I wonder, does Prescott have the same piece of mind, can he live knowing the liar, cheat and thief that he is? or has he, as have I, realised what a contemptible liar and fraud he and the hateful Blair both are?
