How do others' indulge' in the privacy of their own home now the kids are on holiday for 6 weeks ?
Regular bedtimes are non-exsistent , theres always one still up when we want an 'early night' . Why do you need an early night daddy ? . you had a bath late last night mummy !
Why were you creeping round last night daddy , i wasn't asleep !!
Anyone else have these problems ? and any ideas how to solve them ?
Never had kids but when the neighbours' kids were all young they would often come with me when I took my dog for a walk. I slowly sussed that this was jumped on (pardon the pun) by the parents as a golden opportunity.
Which made me realise there is a niche for the baby-taker-outerer. You don't want to go out to a candle-lit dinner/movie/Status Quo tribute band. You want to stay in and get bathed and dressed up and play like what we singles do!!
So any entrepreneurial hard-up baby-sitters out there - pay heed.

Calpol and lots of it!
Our 18 year old loves it!
Boot Camp?

Get divorced and give your ex custody
School holidays or not they still have a bedtime, just slightly later now.
Ten o'clock lights out. I'd rather they're in bed while we all still like each other and they're not quite yet over-tired. Besides Makaveli can't come creeping in at 2am every night!
Wait for 'em to grow up and then if yer lucky they'll either leave or go out to work.
Trips to their grandparents, locks on doors and quickie opportunities ;)
We don't change bedtime here much .. they still go to bed at regardless of holiday/schoolnights but then ours are younger kids.
Thats why we go to swingers clubs, only chance Shel gets to really be vocal.
I did offer to hold a pillow firmly against her face as she comes, but she declined that offer when she saw me checking out the insurance documents!!

Lock on our bedroom door + take em and tire em out in the play park so they sleep.
