you can follow my guide through to a page titled "invite user". In the top right hand corner of that page is a box which will let you invite users. ( it doesn't show on the original picture so here it is again)
Note to Admin --- pics bigger than the forum pagewidth used to scroll to the right to see the whole picture, but this no longer happens.
