Anyone help by telling me why my stories are not being posted? Both have been "accepted" but not reproduced on the stories page?
Any clues anyone? (Oh, and they were not "nasties" either)

They have to be approved before they appear - might take a few days between you submitting them, and them appearing in the story section.

You might find that the content doesn't meet the accepted criteria.
Did you use full stops?
Or spell it correctly?
Does it flow and make sense?
If so, that will probably be the reason it has not been posted :P
On a more serious note, I tried to have a story posted, but the content was "un suitable" because the main protagonist snoops on someone’s computer, and accessed their email account. Although, critical to the plot (yes it is fiction) it was rejected. I'm not sure what is moral in fiction on this site, but it doesn't sit great with me when loads of stories have the wives and gf objecting to 3 somes etc.. so the men get them drunk and take advantage of them.

I don't tend to do much of the story authorising as I delete more than I accept -short ones, drunken ones, women being taken advantage ones, women being slagged off ones, women being forced into sex ones, violent ones, nasty ones - the list of stories I delete goes on and on. The SWINGING ones I accept!
Consequently I steer clear usually.

Moderators don't have high rank. We are just ordinary members, from way back in the early days of SH when it was an assorted bunch of people whose number only reached 15 on a high day, who were asked to undertake the moderation of the ever growing site.
If we were of high rank we'd not be wading through the sewage of the back end of the site so often! Surely we'd get the rose scented offices instead??

They get 'accepted' to an holding area of the site waiting for approval from one of the Mods or Admin team. The 'thank you' is a politeness which is admirable.
