Andy. It's more than likely that the pictures you are trying to view are in that persons private gallery, which you need an invite to view. Hope that helps!
You may need to whitelist the site in your browser - I had the same problem a while back - only gallery images did not show, once whitelisted, all was able to perv.............. Oooops, I mean check.
