There are plenty of profiles and rooms in chat that state quite clearly that they prefer larger so I don`t have any qualms at all about stating that we don`t !

Sounds like you're being honest sparky33, but maybe it says too much and may come across as slightly confusing. It seems to me that you are fairly open minded, in terms of women and their shape and size, willing to consider anyone providing there is that 'spark".

My definition of a BBW is certainly quite different to that of others, to me a BBW is a woman in the size region of Lisa Rielly, not a woman who is a couple of sizes above her so called ideal, e.g Claire Richards (Steps) as she is these days, and still looks lovely.
I see a number of women on here that class themselves as a BBW, yet I don't see them as asuch, I see them as attractive women, this is where perception comes into it.

Not everybody will agree with me or you and everybody looks at things differently and i am only 5'3... But, i have also seen girls of a size 16/18 class themselves as a BBW :shock: What i would give to be a 16!!

keep it vague (ish), talk about what you like more than what you dont like, (maybe naming a celeb you really think is good will give people an idea of your tastes).

I also had this argument with the same person that pointed out my "errors", she said to add what sort of size, and I said you can't because a 5' woman who is a size 20 is going to be very different to a 5'6" woman who is a size 20, and she said I was talking rubbish and they would be the same in appearence, I totally disagree, that is why putting size wont work either.
I'm just not into "very large" women and that is what i was politely trying to put accross.
At the end of the day, there are those that would consider me to be large.

I know what he's getting at... I'll try and explain best as I can.
Say for example, you've used word art, and it puts a title into a box which you can alter the size... If you simply decrease the height without shortening the length, it's 'the same measurements' but as the proportions have changed, would 'look fatter'
I'm generally a size 18 bottom/20 top with big tits and a big bum. But I'm also just under 5'10" I have a friend who is generally a size 20, though couldn't believe it when I told her I was almost the same dress size. She's 5'4".
My way of thinking... since I've not been able to shop in top shop or miss selfridges anymore, I am a BBW. I may be wrong, that's just my opinion
It's a ratio thing, a woman with a 36" who is 5' tall will have a different waist to height ratio than a woman a foot taller with the same waist measurement and will therefore look bigger for her size. Me and my sis-in-law are both a size ten. I'm 5'7" and she's 4'11" (bless her 
) so even though we have the same measurements widthwise, she looks bigger for her size because she's shorter.
Hope that made some kind of sense, if not, blame the Shiraz :D

Jacob's Creek here but I completely understand and it's exactly why I have a problem with my weight and image! I'm a healthy and curvey size 16 however I'm only 5'2 and so I don't feel happy with it.

My problem is that until I had my 11 yr old I was no more than a size 8 and prior to that I was superfit as I did 10k running and cross country. I've never got over giving the running up and then having kids
I look in the mirror and expect to see that look back at me and when I don't it depresses me :(
I'm hoping to lose a fair bit starting next month though
