Profile updates

When you look at some people's profiles they say that they are 'still quite new to this' and yet they've been on since 2004!!
I know some people like to take it slow but ffs!!!
We update our profile regularly to say what we are looking for now ... not what we were looking for when we joined.
They should either update their profile if they have played/met etc or just change the text to something a little simpilar like "just here to chat", "just here to perv" or "just here to waste peoples time"!!!
Rant over! lol

Some of us are just slow starters sad

Six years in and were somewhere just short of jogging pace lol

Ahhhh but you're profile is detailed, it says what you are looking for and it says where you're at!!
You're always active within the forum and as you say, you do socials and munches. People know who you are and what you want.
We get so many winks (which we hate) and messages from couples asking to meet either us as a couple or individually and when we look at their profile it says that they are just starting out and yet their profile was created in the year dot. We have had a couple of bad experiences with couples who have never played before so dont really like to be 'the first one'. If people dont update their profile from when they joined, we dont know if they have still not played or if they have been shagging for Britain! lol

Tweeky you may not be trying to shag the world but as far as we are concerned you are an active member of the website and make sure people know exactly what it is you are here for wink

What people have written on their profiles is a big decider as to whether I will meet them. Yes, I actually read profiles ... even before I look at their pics!!
If I will meet someone with a realy badly written profile really depends on if I can be arsed chasing them for info that should be on their profile.

See now I have very little on my profile confused

I'd rather someone get to know me rather than make a judgment on whether they want to play with me by text on a profile.
I did once turn someone down based on the text and an unflattering picture that I did end up having fun with after I got to know him.
Maybe its because I don't have definate set rules about somethings that a profile wouldn't work for me :?
I don't have a tight age bracket, I play as a couple or single, looking for males or couples. I don't honestly known how to write a profile that covers so many options :lol2:
Apart from that, how do you know for a sure a profile has been written by that person and not copied from another :?

Nice to know were meeting the standard :mrgreen: I do know what you mean though I have seen the 2004 profiles that say "new to all of this" :lol: Perhaps they think no one checks the date maybe they have never viewed their own profile dunno

I don`t understand why anyone has to tell you they are new, it says the date people join on the profiles etc, surely they can`t mean new to sex, its hardly rocket science loon

There's a big difference in being new to sex and being new to swinging. No one knows how they're gonna feel the first time they see their partner with someone else or if they will be able to perform with other people until they do it.
We have had an experience with a 'new couple' where the guy has literally said "get off my wife" as he couldn't handle it. Maybe that's why we would want to know if people are new hey!!

Our profile has always been rubbish information wise. The pictures are due an update as well.
