Prom ??

Help .... my daughter has her prom in July and i am asking if anyone knows anyone with a really flash car (limo, rolls, bentley etc) that i can use to get her to the venue, it is literally a 10 min drive but would love for her to arrive in style. Im currently not working (sad) therefore needs to be freeeeee or at little cost...so can anyone fix it for me ???

Just as an alternative idea, as most peeps will probably arrive in a limo, how about something different. Maybe a horse and carriage type thing. I suggest it as, not only is it different, but you may be able to get a local farmer or horsy person to do it for free.

How about contacting the parents of your child's friends and doing some sort of 'cost' share amongst you all, and the limo can drive round and pick all the prom goers up, or pick up from one house and the friends can all get ready in one place!! lol

actually this is the normal practice in the states so certainly ask around.......... :thumbup:

I have just googles limo and Stockport and got some results, so there are people in your area who do this sort of thing. You should contact them and see how many a limo hold andcost and are they free on the prom dance night, then get round the other parents. :lol:

No, we're more in to barn dances, shindigs and, if we're feeling lively, a hootenany. I believe the youngsters are more into hoe-downs though. lol

Yup... my stepdaughter has just had their prom... we got her a stretch american police car... and then we discovered that she and her boyfriend smoked dope friday and saturday night... so a weekend of ups and downs... literally and metaphorically! sad

Yep Proms def do happen in this country. My eldest had her Prom nearly 2 years ago and had the whole works........
Ball Gown
Flowers for the hair
Corsage
and Limo to take her and all her friends in (which they split the difference with)
Now I have my youngest about to have her Prom in July. She has decided that she dont want a Limo..(she was going in one, but she has fallen out with the people so dont want to go in it now grrr) so, we are on the look out for some type of convertable car.
Think we may have found a convertable Audi (new. But yes prom's are here to stay..................
and the scary thing is..........................
This time last year, some of the local primary schools, (so year 6's) were having end of year proms with the full works as well.............
