There's a couple of pub's that I used to go in with friends that played the following (and others - I'm not going to incriminate myself too much lol ) and we all used to jump around like idiots playing air guitar.....yes, I know....rolleyes
Jump - Van Halen
Sweet child of mine G'n'R
Final Countdown - Europe
Poison - Alice Cooper
Paranoid - Black Sabbath
Smoke on the water - Deep Purple
Ace of Spades - Motorhead
Can't remember the others....maybe because we used to be rather unsteady (read - drunk or atleast on the way  ) by then

I think I'm falling for you.... :smitten: rotflmao

The one song guaranteed to start me gyrating around the nearest pole redface
Great memories in this thread.
surprised
one particular favorite of mine is 'minnie the mooocher'
at our local many many moons ago the DJ would always play it at the end of the night (on disco night cool )
all the pub would gather in a great big group hug and sing it at the top of our lungs.
fabtastic :karaoke:
Llanfairpwllgwyngyllgogerychwyrndrobwllllantysiliogogogoch
now my local used to have a really old fashioned juke box in which was contained an old '45 which had on it a really catchy but very silly song entitled -
Llanfairpwllgwyngyllgogerychwyrndrobwllllantysiliogogogoch
- and this was used to teach all the local kids how to say that particular place name. hence everyone who lived locally knew the song and many an evening was ruined/enhanced by the whole pub singing along with it
strange people these welsh - but as missionaries we're doing our best to show them the error of their ways

A beirkeller? Should I have one? :uhoh: Do I need one? confused
Oh how would you do an Oompah munch tho - can you get people to play all this kind of stuff?
I've seen a group called The New Forest Plonkers a few times - bluddy great group, cracking night out, but they do only do the west country type songs, Cider Drinker, Combine Arrrvester type stuff ..... mind you, that alone makes for a bluddy good night out. Everyone knows all the songs they sing! :bounce:
So, do we have any Plonkers in the house? If so, can you do a gig for us? cool 8-) 8-) 8-)
Missy - off to Ann Summers to ger herself a Beirkeller or two :undecided: dunno
