I think we are all entitled to individual oppinion and yours is obviously a strong one
albeit somewhat misguided and misinformed and wholly innapropriate on a forum within a community where sexuality, acceptance and orientation is so diverse......but an individual oppinion non the less.
So, anal is not for you - that's your perogative and personal choice....it was your strong 'reulsive and disgusting' wording which offended people, and subsequent 'not a real man' statement which really got people's backs up .....but an apology is an apology.
Maybe swinging and the essence of openness which is part of it is just not the right scene for you....or Perhaps SH and the people within it will open your eyes and mind a little more and your attitude, if not personal oppinion, will alter

Can I suggest (which has been suggested many times in the past by regulars and mods) that you re-read what you are posting before you hit the submit button and if the thread/post annoys you, go away, make a coffee, calm down and think before you make the post.
We all have differing views, likes and dislikes, doesn't make any of us wrong, dirty or disgusting. Just because this is a computer site, doesnt mean anyone has the right to be insulting.

Apology accepted, but if your views remain the same then Im not sure if you are going to enjoy your time here as there's gonna be plenty discussion about this kind of thing from time to time. I am still really freaked out about the cutting your mothers throat remark.. that combined with the remarks you made recently about women on the original "Depression" thread leave me concerned about a general negative attitude toward women (apart from shagging them.. anal included of course). So whilst I genuinelly applaud you for attempting to rectify the situation, Im a tad reserved about you in general still.
I in no way expect us all to have the same point of view.. but open mindedness may bring you a much happier state of mind. Also, whilst I dont know your mothers story, I understand a lot about carrying bitterness and anger, and the only person it hurts is you (unless of course you turn into some crazed loon). You may find that to forgive them is such a sense of relief but also extremely empowering as it loosens the emotional stranglehold the situation had and still has over you.
I honestly hope you can find some happiness as in many a post you are showing the opposite.

OK, as one of the main opponents to your argument, I personally accept your apology. I still think you're wrong but you had your reasons for saying what you did, and admitting that you caused offense is a positive step. As others have said, SH is a diverse community and I hope you do accept that your opinions on men's roles in anal sex are probably very much a minority on here. I hope you do think about what people said through that thread and that you are open minded enough to at least see the opposing side to your argument. As I said on that thread, no-one was suggesting that you change your sexual behaviour - you are what you are and you like what you like - but that you do re-consider your attitudes to other people.

What you need to understand SF, is that this bunch of people are as diverse as you will find anywhere in the world. It takes all sorts to make the world go round, and believe me there are more all sorts in here than anywhere else, and the swinging heaven world is really going around......
I love it here, some of the posts have me in stitches, nothing is here, but, and its a BIG but, as we are a diverse bunch of folks in here, you have to watch your tongue. I am a BI man (as I recently discovered) and I was genuinely hurt by what you wrote, as were quite a few others.
There is enought murder, war and other nasty things in this world without trying to force our views on others in here too.
I have a girlfriend (who is bi also) and kids, so do not consider myself less of a man because I engage in a bit of botty sex.
However, I am willing to accept your apology, but still am reserved with your comments about your mum and her throat. I (maybe luckily) love the ground my mum walks on, I guess i've been lucky in the way I was brought up, but to make the statement that you did reveals a deep seated hatred not just of your mum, but probably women in general, and that scares me, I would certainly not invite you into a 3some with me and my gf.
