hi guys,
Punks not just for nostalga, punk is comming back in a big way, I too am too young to remember it the 1st time round but i ve seen a few local bands over this last year and most are punk (claash, pistols, SLF, sham69, buzzcocks, etc) or punk influenced. Went to see stiff little fingeres recently too and was amazed at how many young uns were there. must be to do with the green day revival too.
P.s. Debz, those are some gorgeous set of breasts you got there, as well as the rest i saw on ur web site, If you eva wanting some new photos, drop me a pm.

Hi guys. I was a punk when i was 13 y/o, my brother used to dj at Barbarella's and got me into it. It was me who mentioned The Clash, they were my fave band, i was gutted when Joe died  . I saw them 27 times. Did you go to Morecombe this year ?
Matt
Hiya, I was just at the Morecambe Festival in May biggrin I managed to see Angelic Upstarts, Anti-Nowhere League, Toyah lol , The Dead Pets(really good young band), The Business,The Last Resort and a good few others, was a lot of drunken fun. Last year I saw U.K Subs, 999, The Adicts and so many more, they're all still going!

I think it is really sad that the old bands are still going. Punk was about being young and angry. Charlie Harper of the UK Subs must be getting a pention by now. He wasn't a young chicken in the 70's  Great band though

Dino,
Thats an impressively sized chopper you've got there but..............I'd be a bit concerned about the colour of it mate
wink
hiya,I am glad to say that I am livivng in what it the epicentre of the classic punk revival,,have been to see some really great bands recently, and am looking forwards to seeing even more in the future and for anybody who can get this way you might want to check out -live, ,, the north west home of punk (also the favourite haunt of the dead pets),,and don't forget,,,punx not dead,,it just smells that way lol
i'm only a young 'un. just 19 but i love punk. ive seen the dead pets- they are a great band. i live near leeds so the cockpit or joseph's well or the uni have some great punk bands on, new and old. if there's anyone around the leeds area into punk and stuff i'd love to go to a gig with you guys or even just go out to an alternative club ( anyone been to the squash in dewsbury? probably little known but it can be a good night)
i'll keep my beady eye on this forum.
be back soon
Andy
OMG - I can't remember all the gigs I went to, it was nearly every weekend....
UK Subs
Sex Gang Children
Dead Kennedys - fucking excellent!!!!!!
999
Discharge
Clash
Damned
PIL
Souisie and the Banshees
X-ray specs
Anti Nowhere League
Loads of underground gigs... oh those were the days - sleeping on train station platforms, hitching halfway across the country, meeting up with other punks from all over the place ... (goes off to dream of times gone by) smile
DK
SLF
Damned
Never got to see Dead Kennedys unfortunately. Had a chance recently but DK just wouldn't be the same without Jello. As for SLF and the Damned, i've seen them so many times and there still as good as ever.
Keep the faith biggrin
