Last night due ultimately to not being too arsed after an afternoon drinking, I decided to stay in and watch Pulp Fiction.... (was a difficult toss up with Shawshank on other side too!!!) However I sat there and was thinking bout not how cleverly the film was put together but what a great soundtrack it had! this seems to go throughout the majority of his films especially at present with the theme to Kill Bill at present... Then I thought well he also goes for some great.. Tag lines, memorable especially the Samuel Jackson "Ezekiel" speech...
Does anybody else rate QT ? What movie soundtrack sticks in your mind or tag line from a film?
Tarantino is a god worship :worship: :worship: :worship:
Pulp fiction is a work of genious.
As for tag lines ill have to think about that, theres so many!
Clare,xxx

I love the QT films although haven't seen the Kill Bill ones yet.
I love Pulp Fiction .... Morbius isn't into it too much and it has one of the best soundtracks ever .. the music makes the film.
I like True Romance as well, not quite as gory but Resevoir Dogs has to be the best for that.
I'm with Clare ....................... QT ... worship
i am with you guys on QT....... if you haven't seen the kill bill series yet it is absoulte quality..
love pulp fiction and resevoir dogs... not the greatest fan of true romance though....
from dusk till dawn is something you have to see... even if it is only once!!!! biggrin how mad is that film????
sean xxxxxxx
Aahhh True Romance! Great film,, but altered from his book in which the lead character dies...
I also lloved the Natural Born Killers soundtrack possibly cos it had Leonard Cohen on it..
The film itself was totally bizarre and I think it was a great pairing between Woddy Harrleson and Juliette Lewis. I mean it in a nice way but she is as bizarre as they come!!
Dusk till dawn, you need to watch for the leg/champagne scene.. salam hayek is hot as they come for that!! Also to hear the Pussy, pussy, pussy speech by Cheech Marin!
There was another film he worked in collaboration with called Killing Zoe. few have seen it but again great film very dark!

That's one of my favourite films, I saw it on it's original release at the cinema, and used to have a VHS copy of it, but it dissapeared when we moved house. The plot doesn't really hold many surprises, but it's well writen, full of action, really well shot, has possibly one of the best "being stoned" sequences ever, and Julie Delpy is an absolute goddess!!!
And it's out on DVD next week biggrin :D

He's a master of making gore and violence, a noble profession. God bless him. He once directed an episode of 'ER' going back during the first or second series and it was fantastic. Even if you weren't aware that he hand his hand in that particular episode, you would have noticed his trademark style.
One film that threw me though was 'Dusk before Dawn'. The film had me on the edge of my seat until............the bar scene, where one of the patrons (for one of a better word, rofl) leather cod piece turned into a machine gun. Now I know he only (ONLY!) co-wrote it but its a wild film.

I went to Sheffield last night, booked into a hotel and while getting ready to go to a 'club' put the tv on as background. (Alright - I was ready and had to wait for her rolleyes )
I saw that Shawshank was on and quipped that I'd not seen it for a while. Had I known Pulp Fiction was on . . . . . . . . . . . ??
Tarantino is brill. I don't know much about the "arty" "alternate" side of descriptive film review - I just know what I like.
